Sapphyre Rose lived a double life. To some she was just the respected owner of The Wolf's Den tavern, to others she was a highly feared assassin and mercenary, but she had another secret, one few knew of, she was a Daemon. Having a past that haunted her, she felt the need to make up for her former mistakes by keeping her home town of Lyca safe from the criminals that plagued it. After taking in an orphaned boy and saving a runaway elven princess her life begins to change and she starts to wonder if maybe she could actually put her dangerous lifestyle behind her and be happy. But a dark force is determined to destroy her life and use her power for their own gain and with them they bring a part of her past she thought she had left far, far behind.
