Little Ett's Villainous Son

LazyPariah
She was the Adiand Empire’s hidden jewel, a name spoken only in sealed rooms. The former Emperor’s treasure. The hand behind the throne. She guided her son with merciless precision, erasing enemies while offering no warmth. Even freed, the bird returned to its cage. In the end, she died by her son’s hand. Then Ett awoke as her. Younger than him. Three years younger. “I will remain in the shadows,” she said. “I will ease your rule. We need not meet often.” He smiled, serene and wrong. “Mother may rest in my land,” he replied. “We will reunite when I die.” Too calm. Too devoted. Ett inhaled deeply. Are you cursing me to die when I'm barely hanging on for my dear life? Little kid, why are you talking about your death so calmly? You're still too young! Too dark, just too dark. This child is too mature, which is a little massive red flag. No, everybody here is just mad. Period.
