Pokémon Topaz
When Red was on the verge of death in Kanto’s Indigo Plateau in the hands of Team Rocket-affiliating Kanto Elite Four, one unlikely hero stepped in to save the day. It was 14-year-old boy named Ignatius Cseh and his Pokémon team, the ones Red had never seen before. After the rescue act had been done, Ignatius knew that Team Rocket won’t let this slide easily, so he took in Red and his team and flew back to Salaz, his home region in the south, where Red would recover and recuperate before his retaliation against Team Rocket, who had just taken over Kanto and the Indigo League.
But it was in the vibrant archipelago where Red found his second home, from the Pokémon professor Osman Ceai to the former villains-turned-security combatant group known as Team Slash. He found more than a sanctuary for recovery; he found a home where he was understood and was learning lessons on life as a Pokémon Trainer.
