After a lonely life spent drifting between foster homes and burying himself inside his own imagination, Orin suddenly awakens as a newborn in the arms of an otherworldly beauty. But this isn't the second chance he imagined. He's not alone. The body already has an owner—the infant consciousness, and the two now share a mind. One thinks, the other feels. One watches, the other moves. As Orin tries to guides his companion, their thoughts begin to bleed together, blurring the line between rebirth and possession. Now bound by the threads of fate, how will the two uncover the truth behind their shared existence. But most of all, Orin must confront one question no one can answer for him: Can he ever be free again—or is he doomed to vanish, a parasite in someone else's life?
