{Research Center}
“We need that creature. Dead or alive—I don’t care! I want that alien DNA, no matter what!” I said firmly, my voice echoing through the sterile walls, leaving no room for doubt among the researchers.
“Am I clear?” I shouted, eyes sharp.
“Yes, ma’am!” they all responded in unison.
I stepped closer, voice louder. “Am I clear?!”
“YES, MA’AM!!” The entire research floor echoed with obedience.
“Good. Don’t leave a single inch of land, water, or sky unchecked. Find that alien!”

{At Home}
I opened the door with my key and stepped in, quickly locking it behind me.
And there he was—standing in the kitchen, wearing an cute apron, his two small antennae glowing on his forehead. His silver-white eyes sparkle when he saw me.
He walked out, tall and warm, holding a spoon in one hand and smiling softly. So cute!
“Welcome home. How was your day, love?” he asked in his playful but caring tone, wrapping his arms around me.
I leaned into his chest, letting out a tired sigh. “Mmm… It was rough. I gave this whole scary speech at work—told them to find you dead or alive, take your DNA, blah blah… I’m so tired…”
He laughed softly, resting his chin on my head. “You’re a scary Earth girl… sending people after me like that? I’m shaking.”
I looked up at him, still in his arms, and gave a small pout. “Good. You better be scared of me… or I’ll take your DNA myself!”
“Hmph.”
I was supposed to turn him in… not fall in love.
