James Wolf Revenge

Oyeniyi_Emmanuel
--- After receiving his first salary, James decided to go to a restaurant for some drinks. When he entered the place, he saw a woman named Ester. She was slim and beautiful. She had once been his friend back in college. He sat down beside her, and they greeted each other warmly. Both of them were happy. James had once been her boyfriend in school, but now he was about to get married. Ester, however, wasn't ready for marriage. They chatted happily. While they were talking, a man walked in and spotted them. He assumed they were dating. That man was Simon—Ester’s ex-boyfriend. He had recently broken up with her. Fueled by jealousy, Simon walked up to them in anger. James and Ester, unaware of his presence, continued their conversation. When Simon got to their table, he slammed his hand down hard, spilling their drinks. James stood up, clearly upset. Simon, convinced that James had poisoned his ex-girlfriend’s mind, lashed out. “What the hell are you doing with my girlfriend?” Simon shouted. “Who is your girlfriend? Don’t ever call me your girlfriend again!” Ester snapped. Simon didn’t let her finish. He raised his hand to slap her, but James grabbed his wrist and punched him hard in the stomach, causing Simon to vomit blood. Just then, the manager arrived and blamed James for the fight. James quickly explained what had happened. The manager advised them not to fight in the restaurant, saying it was bad for business. Humiliated, Simon left the restaurant and arranged for three men to attack James outside. As James and Ester stepped out of the restaurant, the men attacked him. A fight broke out, but in the end, James overpowered them. When James got home, his in-laws confronted him. They had seen everything that happened at the restaurant and outside because it had been recorded. They assumed Ester was James’s girlfriend and accused him of planning to spend his salary on her. Despite his efforts to defend himself, they refused to listen. They eventually decided that from that day on, James’s wife would take control of 90% of his salary, and James would receive only 10%. This continued for about a year. James was treated like a slave throughout the year. Then, to his shock, he discovered one night that his wife—whom he had not touched—was pregnant. That night was devastating for him. Instead of confronting his wife, all the family members blamed James for everything and supported her. No one took his side. Feeling hopeless, James left the house. He nearly blamed himself for being poor and was unsure what to do—whether to go out drinking or not. He stood by the roadside, lost in thought, when he saw the lights of a car in front of him. The car was parked near a river. James watched closely to see what would happen. Two thugs got out of the car, opened the trunk, and pulled out a woman whose hands and legs were tied. They threw her into the river. James quickly hid and waited. Once they left, he rushed to the river and jumped in to save the woman. He found a dagger on the ground and used it to cut the rope binding her hands. Then he pressed her chest and stomach and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The woman regained consciousness but misunderstood James’s actions. She thought he was trying to kiss or assault her and slapped him. Angry, James threw the dagger into the river so she couldn’t cut the rope still tied to her legs. As he walked away, she called out to him, but he ignored her. After walking a short distance, James looked back and saw the same car returning. He ran back toward Jane to protect her. He found the thugs beating her again. James fought them but was eventually thrown into the river. As the fight continued, he shouted for Jane to run, and she did. Find out how Jane later found James—and how he was rewarded for saving her. ---

Betrayal: Married To My Enemy After Divorce

Rosalie had spent the last two years devotedly caring for her husband, William, after he was injured in an accident—an accident that happened just as he was about to divorce her for not being able to give him an heir. But everything she believed in shatters when she discovers the cruel truth; William—the very same man who whispered promises to her ears, kissed the ground she walked on when he was courting her—had been faking his paralysis and cheating on her the entire time, with her best friend. The betrayal hit harder than the heartbreak she felt when William had suggested a divorce. “You shouldn’t be surprised. You can’t give me a child,” he said coldly, his voice like ice. Then, with no remorse, he threw the divorce papers in her face. “Let’s finish what we started two years ago. Let’s get a divorce.” Heartbroken but resolute, Rosalie wiped away her tears, signed the papers, and silently vowed to make him regret ever tossing aside her love and sacrifice. She returned to the powerful, wealthy family she had once walked away from—the family that had pampered her, begged her not to leave. Back then, she had wanted to build her own name, live a life untouched by privilege. A name she had tossed aside the moment she met William. Now, barely catching her breath, she faces a new twist of fate. “You’ll have to replace your sister and marry Matteo Valtieri,” her father who never once raised his voice at her said, his tone leaving no room for argument. “It’s the only way to solidify our family’s alliance.” Matteo Valtieri—a cold-hearted mafia boss who got what he wanted and eliminated anyone who stood in his way—couldn’t care less about the marriage. But despite their agreement to stay out of each other’s lives, he found himself drawn to Rosalie, and when he found out that she’d been cheated on by the man she once gave everything to, something in him snapped. Rosalie, too, found herself falling for Matteo—until she remembered he’d murdered someone close to her heart. And that was a truth she couldn’t ignore.
