Some people don't die. They're erased. Yuki Ayano's parents were hospitalized and trapped in a coma from years of neglect. The worst part? She knew it was all her fault.  Stuck alone in her house that reeked of garbage, the only company she had left were her dolls that kept her from going insane.  Desperate to solve her mental issues, her teacher suggested she see a therapist named Sasaki Shin. He opened his clinic before sunrise and closed it before most people could even wake up, but what really caught Yuki's attention was the two strands of hair hanging over his forehead, making him look like the devil. During the therapy session Sasaki casually asked if she believed in the supernatural, like demons or cursed spirits. Of course, Yuki didn't believe in them. She had no reason to. Not until the next day, when she saw her classmate Igarashi Kenji vanish right in front of her eyes, with nothing left behind but his clothes on the pavement. The next morning, Yuki walked into class fully expecting someone to ask where Igarashi was. Instead, attendance was called and his name never came up, as if it had been erased the same way he was. Thus, Yuki Ayano's life had changed forever, as she realized she was the only person left who remembered he had ever existed.
