Arcana: The Lucky Player Doesn't Want to Level Up

Dame_L
On an apparently normal day, while people went about their lives as usual, planet Earth underwent a more than unexpected — and illogical — event: a fusion. With a world of fantasy and magic called Mundus. Furthermore, as chaos took hold in the territories of both worlds, a mysterious system called the Player System was installed in millions of people overnight, providing them with a status window, abilities, classes, and levels. Lilia was one of those people. She suddenly found herself transported, along with her house and her parents, to an isolated area of Mundus. But Lilia is no ordinary person — she is a very, very lucky person. Well, at least according to the System. While trying to figure out what is happening and find a way back to Earth, Lilia discovers an ancient, mysterious Temple hidden deep within a dense forest, where she uncovers unimaginable treasures and the not-so-pretty truth behind the fusion and the beings behind it. The more she learns, the more she realizes it's only a matter of time before things get very, very ugly — not just for her, but for humanity as a whole. Will Lilia be able to keep herself and her family safe? And just how much will she have to risk — driven by her innate curiosity and supposed luck — on the path to becoming strong enough to have a chance of survival in the events that lie ahead? Well, for that, she must learn the rules of this dangerous new game. And, of course, have more than an absurd amount of luck!
