God's began to rain down on earth,
They plummeted like blazing meteors, their radiant wings twisting into leathery shadows as they crashed into the world, shattering cities and ripping reality itself apart. Humanity's golden age ended in fire and ruin.
Amid all of the wreckage rises Ragna, a survivor from the slums of Grimveil. Marked as one of the Guardians—ordinary souls granted forbidden power by the Supreme Ruler—he possesses abilities that make him both savior and target. Haunted by a brutal past and driven to protect the few he loves, Ragna fights through a savage, post-apocalyptic wasteland where God's known as the Devourers hunt like apex predators, twisting landscapes and minds alike.
But the Devourers are only the beginning. A shadowy cabal, the "Order of the New Dawn", emerges from the chaos, manipulating survivors, hoarding ancient relics, and forging uneasy alliances with the fallen angels to seize godlike dominion over what's left of Earth. As Ragna uncovers their web of betrayal—one that reaches into the heart of the remaining human strongholds—he faces impossible choices: sacrifice his humanity to defeat the monsters above, or risk everything to expose the monsters within.
With Devourers closing in, the Order's endgame accelerating, and his own dark impulses threatening to consume him, Ragna must decide if saving the world means becoming the very thing he hunts—or if some falls are worth the redemption that follows.
In a shattered realm where heaven and hell collide on mortal soil, one Guardian stands between oblivion and fragile hope.
