From the sky, above the heights of the clouds, the gods came forth, alien to the natural order established by the world's progenitor. They came from the distant stars, capturing the innocent children of the creator, experimenting on its world, and most heinously, stealing away all of its manna that it had accumulated. Wanting it back, it fought ceaselessly with the gods in an endless war that eventually amounted to it being sealed away. With no other option, it created Briggs to finally take back what rightly belonged to it. from a time-long past, after overthrowing the primordials, the gods emerged as the sovereign races within the universe.
From enslaved, into the slavers, this story, or... War, is literally as old as time.
_____
Although the story does have a LitRPG element to it, this is only for the protagonist, and this will be explained in the story's lore very quickly. It isn't a cheat, nor is it really something that helps him progress throughout the story, but more like a robotic voice reminding him of his purpose.
I'm just trying to let everybody know that, so that they don't get the wrong idea while entering the story.
