Saint Isobel Kotin's urge to interface with the reconstructed Promethea prompted everyone to prep the newly upgraded ace mech for launch.
The combined fleet had already anticipated this need and temporarily parked a short distance from a nearby gas giant in the outer system.
The cold but massive planet was not only surrounded by sizable rings that consisted of countless meteoroids, but also captured a handful of empty and lifeless moons.
Each of them could serve as worthy practice targets for the ace mech that possessed the greatest firepower out of all of her brothers and sisters.
While everyone waited for the Promethea Mark II and her accompanying mounted wargear to arrive at the hangar bay, Ves and his fellow mech designers entered a control room where they began to set up their respective workstations.
As Ves inputted his settings, a fellow Senior Mech Designer quietly walked up to his side.
"Ves."
"Jovy."
