Chapter 4959 - Hidden Danger

"I didn't expect so many people passing through here today. Two more carriages are coming up ahead—probably seeking shelter from the rain too."

The twenty-something cultivator remarked in surprise, peering through the door crack. But as their carriage drew nearer, someone leaned out from the front carriage to glance at the dilapidated temple before retreating back inside. Simultaneously, both carriages and their entourages began backing away, eventually halting by the roadside about a hundred meters back.

"Weird. Why did they back off?" the young cultivator in his twenties asked, his gaze fixed on the two carriages and their entourage a hundred meters away.

"Hmph! Probably scared off by this Yin-haunted place," a middle-aged cultivator scoffed, arms crossed as he rested with eyes closed. "Bunch of cowards."

"What yin-sha place?" the other two cultivators asked, their brows furrowing.
