Isabella and Evelynn finally met, the two of them locking hands as they looked at each other with numerous emotions.
Evelynn had a knowing smile on her face, causing Isabella to blush.
"You can't blame me for spending a few days with him."
"Of course, you can monopolize him all you want. We were the ones who stayed home while you worked hard for the family. Even if you banish me to the cold palace for a year or two, I can endure."
"Wha-" Isabella went flabbergasted before she tapped Evelyn's shoulder as though incensed, but she smiled gratefully.
"I will never do that. After so many years, I got to be together with him. Words can't describe how I felt."
"True. Although I haven't spent time away from him as long as you, I do know the emotions that haunt you while aching for him, but also the fulfilling emotions after we reunite."
"It is wonderful." Isabella nodded.
"Welcome back." Evelynn couldn't help but hug her.
