Silence reigned in the balcony box of the unit.
Alinna had frozen when Davis touched her. She simply couldn't say anything since she had frozen in fear.
On the other hand, Davis took back his hand and momentarily looked at Alinna in a daze.
'She is still there… Did she take over my body in return? Did she see my memories? Or was this something that only I had just experienced because of the spindle after accessing her scarlet bundle…?'
Numerous questions flashed through Davis's mind.
He couldn't see any strangeness within Alinna's gaze nor her emotions. Her mentality was stable, other than her fear towards him, which was quite normal for nearly all people who thought of him as a calamity incarnate.
Even if he didn't release any aura, it was inevitable they would assume the worst and self-inflict fear.
