"Fellow ghosts…"
Lady Thunderwraith muttered, not really understanding what he said. Could it be that he was a ghost before hunting down his new incarnation? She couldn't tell. However, it didn't sound like a lie to her, making her feel a sense of camaraderie.
For the first time, she giggled eerily, "Ghosts don't have camaraderie. To each their own, but I suppose I can take that hand you reached out. Can I believe you have a way to bring me out?"
"How can we know if we don't try?"
Davis chuckled, "I don't even know if I can leave."
"What do you mean?" Lady Thunderwraith's brows narrowed.
Clearly, he had been given permission to leave. Who would dare to go against that entity that even made a fellow above Exalt Stage expert flee faster than a speed she could comprehend?
Davis didn't say anything.
