There were a few moments of silence as Fairy Thunderblaze kissed Davis, forcefully feeding him what appeared to be the last concoction that would activate a charmed spell inside of his blood that would only react to her as she cast a technique yet again.
Their lips separated, and Fairy Thunderblaze looked at him in a fond manner, awaiting happiness and death in all the same moment.
Davis's vision slowly recovered.
In his eyes reflected a sad beauty who appeared forlorn with her satisfied and relaxed smile. It was the smile of someone who awaited death after failing to do what they set out to do, yet still had derived some meaning out of it.
His lips curled into one of pain as he raised his hand and touched her fair cheek.
"Zenova, why do you look so despondent when I'm here for you?"
