Madam Qin's face suddenly struggled to maintain composure, but she still kept a smile.
How could she not understand the meaning behind what her mother-in-law had said just now? She was not allowed to expose that pretty face's true colors at the Fu family.
"Mother, Old Man Xia has been good to me; I have already packed and was just waiting to go with you. If the younger ones see me, they might think I do not want to visit Old Man Xia for the New Year."
As Qin Xiu passed by from behind, he spoke lightly, "Mom, you should stay at home and take care of Grandpa with Grandma." He also understood what his mother had intended to do just now.
"Xiu..." Madam Qin's complexion darkened slightly, but seeing Old Madam's even graver expression, she inevitably felt a bit intimidated.
Qin Xiu did not want Madam Qin to be embarrassed and added, "If you stay here to take care of Grandpa and Grandma, Dad and I will feel more at ease."
