Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: Just Feeling a Bit Tired

20 minutes later, Chi Feichi climbed out of the station's ventilation window.

Feimo was a bit annoyed. "I blame myself for miscalculating Master's height. If Master hadn't reacted quickly and squatted down in time, you would have been seen..."

"You've already done very well." Chi Feichi pocketed the envelope. Seeing Feichi staring at him, he instantly understood and repeated Feimo's words.

"You can leave this to me," Feichi said dismissively. "My sense of distance is naturally good. I'll be the judge from now on!"

Chi Feichi acted as the messenger between the snake and the crow. They chatted for a while, and after walking to the car, he stopped, turned his head, and looked at the Cheetah Delivery Service point not far away...

Ten minutes later, Feimo flew into the car window carrying a hard cardboard envelope in his beak and placed it on the passenger seat. "I found two surveillance cameras and avoided them. The printed paper is also ready and inside."

"Thanks for your hard work." Chi Feichi took the hard envelope, put the letter and the printed paper inside, and finally felt comfortable looking at it.

It was Cheetah Delivery Service that tempted him first!

You can see Cheetah Delivery everywhere. They have printers inside, and the sealed cardboard envelopes look sturdy and flat, which is satisfying to use. It always feels like something is missing if it's not sealed properly.

Feichi looked at the delivery package on the passenger seat. He seemed to have discovered his master's little quirk and wanted to complain to his companion...

He turned to look at Feimo. Forget it, never mind. Better to look forward to my own mobile phone and computer.

Feimo saw Feichi glance at him and understood that Feichi had something to say. curiosity was killing him, but he too looked forward to his own mobile phone and computer...

Driving to Futabacho again, 214 1-chome turned out to be an arcade.

From a distance, one could see a row of game machines behind the door, with a group of delinquent youths laughing and playing games.

"It's an enclosed indoor space, so it's inconvenient for Feimo to go in. Keep watch outside," Chi Feichi got out of the car. "Feichi, the task of checking for suspicious characters inside is yours."

"No problem!"

"Okay!"

Two similar responses, accompanied by similar frantic nodding.

Chi Feichi wanted to say something, but his gaze caught a Porsche 356A parked near the arcade. He paused, then watched two men in black, one tall and one stout, get out of the car. The words on his lips changed to: "Feichi, pay attention to those two later. Tell me immediately if they make any abnormal moves."

On the other side, Gin, who had just gotten out of the car, felt a gaze watching him. He turned to look but only saw a round, fat man closing his car door and walking towards the arcade. The other party didn't seem to be paying attention to this side at all.

Vodka followed his gaze. "Aniki, what's wrong?"

"Nothing," Gin withdrew his gaze. "Move faster."

"Okay, Aniki," Vodka looked at Chi Feichi approaching and felt shocked by his size. "But that guy is really fat."

"Be careful. That guy isn't simple," Gin whispered, stepping into the arcade first.

Chi Feichi had parked far away and entered a step later. He immediately spotted the rest area at the very back.

Calling it a rest area was generous; it was just two tables placed in the corner of the arcade.

Next to one of the tables sat a middle-aged man dressed sloppily, leaning against a large backpack.

Seeing someone enter, the group of delinquents looked surprised, then repeatedly sized up the three newcomers.

A tall man in black, a shorter stout man, and a rotund figure dressed in bright blue walking in a line through the arcade machines towards the back...

It was indeed a bit eye-catching.

As Vodka walked, he glanced at the shadow on the ground, quickened his pace to walk beside Gin, and whispered, "Aniki, that fat guy keeps following us. Could he be coming for us?"

Gin remained silent.

Feichi poked his head out slightly from Chi Feichi's sleeve. "Master, they seem to be looking for the smuggler too."

Chi Feichi remained silent.

Vodka took two steps, looked back, and found the group of delinquents glancing at them from time to time. He couldn't help saying to Gin, "That guy is too conspicuous. Because of him, those brats keep looking over here. What a trouble!"

Gin remained silent.

Feichi observed, "Master, what is that big guy whispering about sneakily? He looks a bit suspicious."

Chi Feichi remained silent.

Vodka: "Aniki, he's still following. Should I tell him not to hinder our business and tell him to get lost?"

Gin glanced at Vodka and remained silent.

I said be careful, but leave some room for judgment, will you?

The other party is obviously here for the smuggler too. It's best not to start a conflict if we can avoid it.

But forget it. Being extra careful is fine.

I just suddenly feel a bit tired...

Feichi: "Master, is that big guy discussing how to deal with us? Should I slip over and secretly listen to what they're saying?"

Chi Feichi held down the eager Feichi and remained silent.

He said to pay attention because he was worried Gin might draw his gun at the drop of a hat and drag him into trouble.

But currently, Gin and Vodka were behaving normally, just whispering. It wasn't a big deal. Was Feichi being overly cautious?

But forget it. Being extra careful is fine.

I just suddenly don't want to talk anymore...

The man sitting at Table 2 noticed someone approaching. When he looked up and saw Gin and Vodka, his face changed slightly. He stood up, and in his panic, the set of keys he was playing with flew out of his hand. "How did you find this place?!"

Vodka snorted coldly and stepped forward with a fierce attitude. "Never mind how we found this place. You haven't forgotten what you promised us, have you?"

Chi Feichi caught the keys that flew past his face. Without thinking, he guessed that his first layer of disguise had been scratched. He placed the keys on the table and lowered his voice to sound deep and resonant. "Can you guys wait until I finish buying my things to discuss your business?"

"You..." Vodka turned his head in dissatisfaction, only to see the 'round guy' behind him start tearing his face off, revealing another fat face underneath. He couldn't help but freeze.

Disguise?

The smuggler watched Chi Feichi pocket the mask. Seeing Gin and Vodka go silent, he patted the large backpack. "The stuff is here!"

Chi Feichi took out his phone to transfer the money. Once the smuggler confirmed the balance was received, Chi Feichi took the large backpack and left, showing no interest in anything else.

Seeing Gin standing quietly aside, Vodka suppressed his doubts and didn't say much. He waited until Chi Feichi left before continuing their business.

After Chi Feichi got into the car, he let out some air from the inflatable padding on his body to make his face and body shape look more consistent.

Feimo, who had been keeping watch outside, flew back in. "Master, are those two guys dangerous? How did it go? No trouble, right?"

"It's fine," Chi Feichi started the car. Seeing Feichi looking at him from his sleeve, he explained while driving away, "Members of a mysterious organization. It's best not to accept their bounties if possible; it's easy to get screwed over. That man with long silver hair is very difficult to deal with and has great destructive power..."

Feichi agreed. "That person gave me a very dangerous feeling, just like the first time Master stared at me. But now that I'm familiar with Master, it's not scary anymore."

"Was I scary in your eyes before?" Chi Feichi asked casually.

"A little bit, just a little bit..." Feichi said hurriedly.

Chi Feichi didn't care if he really scared the snake and continued, "I don't really want to have contact with them. Their organization doesn't follow rules very well. For example, that smuggler. A reputable merchant needs to be well protected. As long as he doesn't go too far, others won't touch him. But for people from that organization, once someone knows some of their secrets and might leak their existence, they will eliminate them without hesitation. Killing and bombing at will..."

BOOM—!

An explosion suddenly erupted from behind.

Feimo looked back. The arcade was already engulfed in flames, and the black Porsche 356A had driven a distance away and was almost catching up to them: "..."

People say crows are jinxes, but Master is the biggest jinx, right?

Said bombing, and it really exploded!

Feichi also turned to look at the fire behind them. "I remember there were innocent people in that arcade..."

"Innocent?" Chi Feichi's expression didn't change much. "When we entered, that group of delinquents didn't pay much attention to the first person. When they saw the second person, most of them frowned. When they saw me, they all looked surprised. They weren't surprised that someone came, but surprised that the number of people was wrong. They were in cahoots with that smuggler. Furthermore, smuggling transactions are generally not held in places with people. Although those delinquents dressed like students, two of them looked way too old for that. That arcade was clearly the smuggler team's den."

"So that's how it is..." Feichi gazed at the fire behind the car. Although it had infrared detection and Feimo could fly, sometimes the information they got wasn't necessarily more than what Master gathered. "Huh? Master, that car is following us!"

Chi Feichi also saw Gin's car in the rearview mirror. "Stay alert, but don't be overly nervous."

The Porsche 356A sped up very fast, directly overtaking the crappy little car Chi Feichi had 'borrowed' halfway.

The two sides quickly put distance between them, peaceful and uneventful.

Vodka glanced at the white car in the rearview mirror, somewhat puzzled. "Aniki, who exactly was that guy who knows disguise..."

"A bounty hunter who's been quite prominent recently, codename July," Gin lit a cigarette, his eyes under the silver hair calm and indifferent. "Listening to the collision sound when the backpack was lifted, he should be here to buy guns and bullets. At least one handgun and one sniper rifle."

"Bounty hunter?" Vodka frowned in disgust. "A bunch of troublesome and annoying guys!"

Although they operated covertly and hadn't appeared on official bounty lists yet, avoiding pursuit by bounty hunters so far, intelligence agencies of various countries had already noticed them. If one day those agencies issued bounty missions to catch them, there would definitely be swarms of bounty hunters chasing after them.

And they were all guys who weren't afraid of dying. Troublesome!

"Bounty hunters have a dual nature," Gin took out his phone. "As long as the benefits are sufficient to move them, they can do anything for it. But they might also betray for other benefits. In the end, it depends on the conditions offered by the employer and the credibility of the bounty hunter themselves. There are very few bounty hunters in Japan, and capable and trustworthy ones are even rarer."

Vodka turned to look at Gin in surprise. "Could it be..."

"If there's a chance, we can make contact..." Gin held the cigarette in his mouth, looking down to type. "This is That Person's wish."
