Asuta: "There it is."
Fourth: "So behind those enormous doors is The boss?"
Asuta: "Yes, it is."
Fourth: "Alright, let's do this then!" Fourth pushes open the enormous doors and yells, "I'm here!"
Asuta quickly follows behind.
Fourth: "Where's this big boss man at? Come out and show yourself!"
Asuta whispers enough for Fourth to just hear her. "Fourth, do you want to die! Did anything I told you back then register?!"
Fourth: "Yeah, it did, but I thought you were joking."
Asuta's face turns white, and she gains an expressionless look on it.
Asuta and Fourth continue to bicker back and forth. When someone comes up behind both of them.
The Boss: "I don't appreciate this squabbling in my dining hall! Now silence!"
Fourth and Asuta jerk around. Fourth takes one look at the man standing in front of him and lets out a loud laugh.
Fourth: "Are you serious? Who's the short, scrawny kid?! And what about those weird things on his arms?"
Asuta does not want her and Fourth to get in trouble, mainly Fourth. Realizes there's only one thing she can do.
Asuta: "Binding magic! Vines of Asylum!" Fourth's body had been taken over with Vines coming from asuta magic powers. She had encased him in one of her binding spells, creating strains around his hands, legs, and mouth. Therefore, leaving him unable to move or speak.
Asuta: "That's enough out of you! Worthless insect! Don't dare disrespect the Boss with your meaningless words!"
The Boss: "Asuta, my lovely friend, how kind of you to think of me in such a manner. Is this the boy that Kiken and Naifu had captured?"
He approaches Fourth and begins to study him over. "Such a fine specimen, don't you think, Asuta?" He turns his head to face Asuta with an ominous smile on his face. Asuta, having the experience of dealing with the Boss's strange behavior, knew exactly what to say.
Asuta: "Indeed, he is boss. He'll make an exquisite addition to your collection.".
The Boss: "I'm beginning to feel like this one here is going to be the one!" He starts to jump up and down and claps his hands. "Oh yes indeed! I believe we have found our Candidate!"
Fourth: Candidate I? Does he mean for the ritual I'm a part of?
Asuta: "Boss, if I may? You requested both of our presences. Is there something the matter?"
The Boss: "No, not at all. At least not anymore. I just wanted to see this boy for myself. Even after the amount of magic Sunatchi stole from him. He still dispenses tremendous magical power."
Asuta: "His power is meaningless. Nothing compares to yours."
The Boss: "Indeed, you're correct, but I must say being the only one out there to be able to use Kanjō (emotion) magic is an incredible sight to see. Too bad he has to die for it, such a pity." The Boss stands there feeling sorry for Fourth. Then suddenly lets out a horrendous laugh. "I love telling jokes!"
Asuta: "That was an excellent joke."
The Boss: "Undo your magic. I want to get a better look at him."
Asuta was unsure of what the Boss was going to do and what Fourth's actions were going to disobey the boss's orders. "Hoseki, do you think that is wise?"
Hoseki: "Did I ask you to question my authority!"
Asuta: "No, sir, I apologize. I was out of hand." Asuta leans her head down, awaiting her punishment.
Hoseki: "Do as I say, and I won't use Ashes of crystals on you."
Asuta: "Unbind Vines of Asylum." The Vines start to slowly disintegrate, allowing Fourth to move freely.
Fourth: "You there, Hoseki? I think you have some explaining to do!"
Asuta: Dear Lord, he just doesn't learn!
Fourth: "You got some nerve talking to a lady like that! Maybe I should teach you some!" He rushes towards Hoseki!
Asuta: "Fourth, don't!"
Fourth: Okay, what in the world am I doing! Am I really running at this dude! I mean, yeah, he looks scruny as all hell, but this magic power is four times as strong as mine! I'm seriously going to die right here.
Hoseki: "Crystal magic, Wall of Marble Hindrance!"
A giant marble wall appears instantly in front of Fourth, causing him to run straight for it. He slams directly into the marble wall, falling backward.
Fourth: "What the hell did you have to do that for?!"
Hoseki: "You fool, you're merely child's play."
Hoseki comes to Fourth, never taking his eyes off of him. "Show me what you can do."
Fourth: "Wait, what?"
Asuta: "Yeah what?"
Hoseki: "I want to see the Kanjō power from the man who wields it."
Fourth: "Come again?..."
Asuta: "Hoseki, do you know the extent of his powers?"
Hoseki: "Not in the slightest, but I intend to find out. "
Fourth: Is this a trick? What's his game? I could do my most powerful spell with what little power I have left, but even that won't be enough to escape. I'll just have to show him a basic spell.
Hoseki: "I don't like to be kept waiting."
Fourth: "Yes, here it is. Emotion magic, Charm of the Iriomote!" A cat-like creature appears before them. Asuta and Hoseki are fully enticed by the Iriomote, so that neither of them can contain their happiness.
Asuta: "Look at it! Those adorable ears!"
Hoseki: "Its tail looks so fluffy! I just want to cuddle it forever!"
Fourth: If only this could last long enough for me to escape...They look ridiculous.
Fourths spell had abruptly ended leaving Asuta and Hoseki wondering what had happened.
Asuta: "What was that?"
Hoseki pulls himself together. "I see, so that's what your power is like."
Fourth: "One of my basic abilities, simply put, is just a distraction spell. Mainly used in battle, but seeing as I'm low on magic power, there's no chance of a battle."
Asuta: "You'd never be able to take on Hoseki in a battle, especially not with your futile magic! He would annihilate you."
Fourth: "This scary side of Asuta, I'm really starting to like it!" Fourth says to himself with a huge grin.
Asuta: "Why are you grinning for!"
Fourth: "No reason at all."
Hoseki: "I thank you for that demonstration, as always, seeing new magic in front of me brings me much joy!"
Fourth: "Okay, this dude is really weird." Fourth mutters to himself.
Asuta: "What are you muttering!"
Fourth: "Ahhh! I was saying Thank you!"
Asuta: "Well, speak up so Hoseki can hear!"
Fourth: "Yes, ma'am! Hoseki, thank you!"
Hoseki: "Enough of this, it's time to prepare."
Fourth: His mood changed quickly.
Asuta: I hate to be like this, but I have to for both of our sakes.
Hoseki: "The two of you come this instant."
Fourth and Asuta follow Hoseki to the back of the dining hall.
Hoseki: "It's time we start the ritual."
