Lu Tian and Park Min Lee were waiting downstairs in the living room.
The moment Yue Ling appeared, Lu Tian looked up.
His eyes moved over her face. He noticed the faint redness around her eyes.
The softness in her expression.
The quiet sadness she hadn't entirely managed to conceal.
His gaze lingered, silently asking whether she was alright.
Yue Ling understood.
She gave him a reassuring smile.
Lu Tian's expression softened. He rose from the couch.
"Ready?"
She nodded.
"Ready."
He approached and gently took her hand.
Yue Ling turned toward her friends.
"Hana, Min Lee, we should be on our way."
Lee Hana's smile faltered.
"You just got here and you're leaving already."
Yue Ling nodded apologetically.
"We only have today to see everyone."
Hana sighed and walked the couple out with her husband.
However, she couldn't help sighing in sadness every few seconds.
She understood but it was hard.
