"Will it take the bait like this?" Nami Midori looked at Angel with doubt.
After Angel had recounted the tale of the Void Traveler, he then released waves of energy in the nearby void. Nami Midori initially thought it was a trap to capture the Void Traveler. Upon sensing it, she realized Angel was merely wrapping a brief message with energy.
The gist of the message was: "If you have something to say, just come to see me. If you keep peeping in the void, I'll get angry."
On the surface, it sounded like a tone used to soothe a child.
"Take the bait?" Angel shook his head. "No, I'm not trying to capture it. I just want to talk and find out why it keeps spying on me."
Nami Midori: "Didn't you say earlier that the Void Traveler is weak, timid, and lacks the ability to communicate?"
Angel: "Indeed, the vast majority of Void Travelers might lack the intelligence to communicate with other species. However, the one I saw earlier was different..."
