"Can Sheath shed its shell?"
Observer: "Of course, with a better shell, it will naturally be replaced."
Seeing that Angel still had doubts in his eyes, the Observer thought for a moment and didn't mind explaining.
As it turns out, the purple-black crystals covering Sheath's body are actually a kind of "exoskeleton" crystal shell that Sheath constructs externally through digesting certain kinds of extraordinary materials. It can serve both as a medium for energy release within Sheath and provide a certain level of defense.
