Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : First time entering the Game

Canary had just finished lighting the candles for her youngest sister, who had passed away exactly a year ago, when she suddenly received an unknown message on her phone. She wondered if it was a new type of scamming message. The message asked her what her greatest wish was. She smiled when she read it and found it funny, thinking that scammers had really unique ways of scamming money nowadays.

Normally, she would have blocked this type of message, but for some reason, she was in the mood to prank the scammer. Her sister Violet came back and happened to see her smiling while typing on her phone. She showed Violet the message, and they both laughed after Violet read it.

Violet also found it funny and joined in the fun. Canary replied to the message, saying she wanted her sister to be alive again. A few seconds later, she received another message asking if she was willing to pay the price. Canary and Violet looked at each other, thinking that this was where things got interesting.

Violet took the phone and replied, asking what the price was. After a few seconds, another message arrived, but before they could read it, their other sister, Sapphire, came back from buying some groceries outside.

"What's up with you guys?" she asked. They told her what had happened, and she thought they were being childish again, but she also joined in the fun. Sapphire read the message, which said, "Do you want to join a survival game?"

"A survival game?" Violet asked. "It only said that if you win, the wish will be granted and you'll receive rewards," Sapphire explained.

"Let me see," Canary said, reaching for her phone, but a sudden loud thunder interrupted her. All of them were caught by surprise, and she dropped her phone on the table. "My God, it's scared me to death," she exclaimed.

"Is there a typhoon today?" Canary asked, but her sisters just shrugged their shoulders. Violet picked up the phone and suddenly exclaimed, "Did you type yes?"

"I didn't, why?" Canary replied, but Violet told her that she had replied "Yes" and there was now a message congratulating them. "Wait, I think it's us," Violet said. "It said, 'Congratulations to all of you for participating in the survival game called Bloody Moon. And because this system didn't expect that it will have 2 more additional players...'"

"Two more players? It means me and you?" Sapphire asked, pointing at Violet. They all exchanged glances and suddenly felt a chill run down their spines. "This isn't real, right? No way!" Violet said.

Violet continued reading the message, which said that the system would give them 5 minutes to bring things they wanted into the game, and that the rules would be explained later. "Oh my God, is it true?" Canary asked, but she decided to believe it, thinking it wouldn't hurt to prepare. "Let's believe it for now. Move faster, pack all the things we'll need, we only have 5 minutes," she said.

The three sisters hurriedly packed their things, fortunately, they all had traveling bags with them. It took 3 minutes for them to pack their clothes and other essentials. Canary went to the kitchen to gather knives and food, while Violet searched for an emergency lamp, flashlight, and batteries. Sapphire grabbed all the groceries she had just bought.

All the things were piled up in the living room, and with only a minute left, Canary found a rope to tie everything together, including themselves, just in case they got separated. Violet was tying Sapphire's waist when she suddenly asked, "What if it's just a prank? Did we just make fools of ourselves?"

"Let's just hope it's a prank," Canary said, trying to brush it off. "We can put everything back, and it's just tiring. We can think of it as an exercise."

Sapphire joked, "Yeah, like a drill. At least next time, if there's a fire or earthquake, we'll have experience packing things."

They were still joking when Canary's phone suddenly lit up, and a message popped out: "Time's up."

Sapphire got scared and suddenly hugged the couch, while Violet hugged their things. Suddenly, something jumped onto Canary's lap, and out of instinct, she caught it. It was Choco, their stray puppy.

Before Canary could push the dog away, a blinding light appeared, and when they opened their eyes, they found themselves in an unknown place - a white space with cloud-like walls. Everything was white, and there was nothing to see except for the things they had packed. But Choco was nowhere to be found.

"Where's Choco?" Violet asked, worried.

"Maybe he's still in the house?" Sapphire replied.

As they discussed what might have happened to their dog, a big cotton ball appeared in front of them. "I'm a system that specializes in stealing Divine Power from the Gods," it said. "The reason you're here is that this is my space, where your bodies will sleep."

"Sleep? What do you mean by that?" Canary asked.

"Let me explain first before you ask questions," the cotton ball replied. The three sisters looked at the talking cotton ball, which had only eyes and a mouth. It looked cute, but its tone was cold.

"The reason your bodies will sleep here is that only your souls can enter the mission world. You'll possess the bodies of aborigines who have already died in that world. The Gods won't allow intruders and will destroy your souls if they detect your presence. So, make sure no one suspects you. Your main mission is to ensure that world doesn't collapse. To do that, you have to save as many people as you can, but only those whose souls aren't fully corrupted by evil energies."

"Every time you save one person, you'll get 10 points," it continued. "Saving animals also gives points, but it's only 1 point. In the mission world, there will be thousands of players from your world, all with problems and considered rubbish people by the Gods. Most are criminals, vicious people who have committed great sins, but some are people who are sick in the mind and considered psychopaths."

"You'll have to choose one person you think can be redeemed and put on the right path. Once you choose, you can't change it. You must ensure that person becomes the final winner. There are two options: if your chosen player's soul is only blackened less than 50%, you can save people openly. But if it reaches 60%, you'll have to wait until it reaches 100% and kill them on the final day."

"You can attack anyone with 60% blackened souls, but you can't kill them unless they're at 100%. I advise you to make sure your chosen player chooses the right path, or this mission will be very difficult for you."
