As Joy saw Embrey in front of her, Joy stood and fear ran into her veins, she was scared to see Embrey, she knew that what she did was gonna make her suffer more, now Embrey will throw her out.
" Embrey, I know you are angry at me but please just listen to me once, Embrey," said Joy.
" No, Joy, you forgot your limits, and Now, you will see what happens when you mess with me Joy, I am gonna throw you out".
As doctor outside heard the chaos inside ICU they went in and said, " This is an ICU, more than one person is not allowed here, and the visiting hour is over, No patient's family is allowed in now".
Embrey stood by the side of doctors and said, Yes, Now get out Joy, Get out from here, and don't come back, because I would make sure that you lose your Job".

" Doctor? Doctor, see this, Drake's hand, He is saying something" as Joy said that, Doctor and Embrey came running to him, Embrey Pushed Joy aside and Went near Drake.
Drake slowly opened his Eyes, and saw Everyone was gathered around him, Doctor checked his Pupil, his vitals, and heart rate, Everything was normal.
" he is out of danger now, Embrey, I don't know how It happened, He was in coma few minuted ago When we checked, but he is fine now, he is awake, We would keep him here, for few more hours and then would shift him to the general ward", said Doctor as he was stunned that how he could be awake, it was God's magic.
Joy was happy that he was awake, her prayer was answered, her face was lightened up just by seeing him all fine and good. She saw Embrey sitting beside Drake and turns to leave slowly so that no one could notice her.
As Drake tried to figure out, what was happening around him, why he is lying there, He saw Joy, leaving unnoticed from his room, He stopped her and said, " Hey! Joy! where are you going, please stay for a while with me".
Embrey kept Staring at Joy for not leaving right there. Joy was helpless there.
She turned and said, " But, you have got Embrey here, and as Doctor said, visiting hours are over and I..I need to go to work, paused Joy" and before she could say anything else, Drake Interrupted her and said, " I know You've got work, but please Stay, just for a while, and when I am awake, I don't think she being here would be any Problem, Right Doctor".
The doctor thought for a second and then approved that Joy could stay for a while and asked Embrey to come along with him for some work.
Embrey looked at Joy in anger and rolled her eyes as the Doctor asked her to come along.
After Doctor and Embrey left, Joy went near Drake, who was lying on the bed, all fractured up, she sat on the chair beside him.
" How are you feeling Now? Does it hurt anywhere? do you have any Idea, how worried everyone was? we thought we lost you and when you didn't wake up after 24 hours, everyone thought that Dizzy Drake Interrupted her and said: " everyone thought what?"
Joy looked at him and said, " that, you had gone in a coma and might not wake? " Drake cut in Joy and asked, " And what you thought? Joy?"
Joy paused for a moment and then looked at him with compassion in her eyes and said, " I knew that You would wake up because you promised me that you would always stay by my side".
"But how did you wake up, why you were calling my name?" asked Joy.
"I had a dream, we were at this place, and I was lying unconscious, You were Crying hard for me besides me and was asking me to wake up, again and you were saying that you like me and can't let go of me but then suddenly you disappeared and when I woke up, you were gone, I called out your name and then next thing I saw you were standing in front of me".said Drake.
Hearing Drake's Dream, Joy got nervous and thought Drake was unconscious when she confessed her feeling for him, he could not hear them, was that really a Dream.
She coughed hesitantly and said, " that was really some weird dream, Why would I say that Drake?"
" Yeah! I know, Joy, But it's just a dream, and anything can happen in dreams, But what's good in that is, I woke up from that dream right? said Drake.
Yeah, But now, I think you should rest, We will talk later said Joy and then she immediately left just to avoid Drake's more Questions.
" Ugh!!!! Joy went home, got fresh up and Prepare breakfast for Lisa and herself. Even though Joy Promised Lisa that She would anyhow manage to get the money for Lisa's admission by the time, admission would start, but Lisa won't come out, she would spend lots of time in her room, talking on her phone and avoiding Joy.
Joy went to her Part-time work and then to the hospital, on the way to the hospital, she brought some flowers for Drake.
" hey! Noona? Where were you? do you know? how worried I was Last night? I messaged you but didn't go out of the ICU room? What did Embrey say, was she angry? asked peter as he saw Joy Passing through the corridor.
" I know Peter, I did not see your message and before I could leave, Embrey was standing right in front of me, but then Drake woke up and everybody went running to him, So I think he kinda saved me again from Embrey's anger, said Joy smiling.
"I went to see him, in the morning, he is fine now, they had shifted him and I told him about Embrey, about how she was threatening you throw you out and I thought Only Doctor Drake could help you out in this," said Peter with his eyes low.
"what? Why would you tell him that? Embrey was just Angry, so she said something out in anger, you should not have done that Peter", said Joy.
then Joy went to see Drake in the general ward on the 14th floor but he was not there, joy didn't know where Drake was, "but Peter told me that they had shifted him then why he is not here" wondered Joy. She went to the nurse at the reception and asked, " Hey! nurse Samantha, do you know, where had they shift Doctor Drake, weren't they supposed to shift him here?"
"Oh? Yes, they decided to shift him here, but then Doctor Embrey Asked to shift him to the Private room for VIP's at the 14th floor" said Samantha.
Meanwhile, Drake has something Important to talk with Embrey, As Embrey came to see him, Drake looked at Embrey and said, " What are you doing here, Embrey? Who asked you to be here? how dare you threaten Joy with Firing her from Work"?
" Because I am your Girlfriend Darling", said Embrey laughingly. " What did you think Drake, that I don't know, you were using me as your Girlfriend to be close to Joy, But Unfortunately your Dear friend Joy, told me everything, and now I am your girlfriend and that's the truth, you can't deny it Drake and if you promise me to get along with me with your lie then I won't ask my dad to throw Joy out from this hospital., otherwise, I would tell her, that you lied to her and still has feelings for her, said Embrey with an evil smile on her face.
Helpless Drake Lying on the bed could not do anything besides accepting Embrey's deal, he accepted her deal, because he did not know that Joy too likes him, and Embrey is just taking advantage of the misunderstanding between them.
Embrey was happy at the success of her plan, As she walks out of the door of the room, she saw Joy who was waiting outside the room.
" uh? Embrey? I just came to clean, I am not here to meet him, Please Don't misunderstand me, said Joy,
but Embrey Interrupted her and said, " No, Joy, I am sorry, I was very rude to you earlier, I got so panic, when I saw Drake all injured and when I saw you with him, I felt betrayed, I thought you were trying to steal him from me, I am sorry Joy, I know you were worried about him too and you were heartbroken seeing him that way, what you did was because you love him as a friend, and I understand that, I hope you would forgive me for being Rude to you and would remain, my friend, right Joy? and you can go and see him, he is your friend, you have every right to see him Joy" said Embrey.
Now, when Drake accepted her deal, Embrey knew that she got to befriend with Joy again, or she will lose her trust, and If she would remain a friend to joy, then Joy won't ever tell Drake about her feeling for him because Joy can't betray her friends, she won't steal her friend's Boyfriend.
Joy was happy now that Embrey understood her and she allowed her to see drake, and she won't get fired too.
joy went inside the room, Drake was awake, he saw Joy and asked her to come and sit. Joy gave him the flowers she bought for him.
" So, how you feeling Now? better? what did the doctor say? " asked Joy as she sat beside Drake on the Chair.
" hmm.. thanks for the flowers Joy, and I am feeling better now, they say, my fracture on legs and arm would take at least one month, I would have to lie on this bed till I am able to walk, oh!! how awful is that? isn't it Joy? said, Drake.
" Hmm.. yeah it is, but you need to listen to the doctor and rest so that you could get better, and If you really feel like going out, call me I would take you out on a walk, said joy smiling.
as days were passing by Joy's feelings for Drake were growing, spending time with, taking him on a walk on the wheelchair, chatting with him, was making Joy happier even though she was trying too hard to stay away from him because of Embrey's plan.
a month passed by, Joy took care of him and Drake was no longer on his bed he could walk by the help of forearm, his wrist hurt a little but Doctor discharged him, but Drake Didn't go home, instead, he decided to live in his office which he had turned in his room till he finally could walk properly.
As Drake was arranging his stuff, to make some more space for him to sleep, he saw Peter passing through his office, He called him out and said, " Hey! Peter, do you have a minute? I need your help".
" yeah! Doctor Drake, what is it?" asked Peter.
"hmmm. can you go to my apartment and fetch some stuff for me, actually in here only I have are my shirts and pants, and they are quite uncomfortable for me to wear and sitting all day makes me bore so can you?" said Drake. " yeah sure" said Peter and Drake handed him the list he made of the stuff he needed and gave him his address.
Peter left with the list to Drake's Apartment, as he was on his way to the elevator, Doctor Ryan stopped him and said, " Hey! Peter, here you are, I need you in the operating room right now, we just have an emergency case and my assistant doctor is not here, so I need you to assist me, okay?" and Ryan left from there in hurry.
Peter couldn't say anything, he was stuck between two problems, he needed to be in the surgery, but he also needs to help Doctor Drake.
Peter got an idea he thought, he should ask Noona, she would definitely help him, and he could go in surgery then.
He went to the cafeteria as it was noon, and he knew Joy would be there, he went to her and asked her to help him, he handed her the list of stuff Drake needed and his address and stormed off, before Joy Could say anything.
Joy now had no choice just to go and bring Drake's stuff. She asked Jake for permission to go out for a while and took a cab to Drake's apartment.
She went into his apartment, It was big and so lovely and clean. She took out the list that Peter gave her.
"hmm... Okay, so, He needs some t-shirts and trousers, where is his room, right this might be his room, let's see in the cupboard".
Joy opened the Cupboard, there were so many stylish clothes, hanging there, all looked so classy, Joy picked few comfortable t-shirts and trousers and put them in the bag, she then read ahead, " Okay next is, books, why does he need so many books," Joy went to the shelf where many books were kept, she took all the books, accept one that she can't find, and finally she took the last thing on the list, and that was a guitar.
" oh? this guitar looks so nice, Drake never told, he plays the guitar" wondered Joy, Joy roam around Drake's apartment for a while, she checked things, as she opened the Fridge all, she finds was water bottles and no food.
" There's no food in his refrigerator, what does he eat? Right? I never saw him having food at his house, he always eats Cafeteria food, it does not even taste good, How could he eat it daily for three times, How I never noticed this before, he was living this way, " wondered Joy.
"I still have some time, how about if I go back home and prepare some food for him" wondered joy and left .she went home and prepared some food for drake as fast as she can and hurried to the hospital.
She went to his office, where drake was sitting on his chair.
" Here's, your stuff that you asked," said Joy. " hii!! But I asked Peter for them," said Drake as he did not expect Joy to bring those stuff.
Yeah, But he had to go in the operating room, so he asked me said Joy and continued to say, " Hey, I never thought, plying guitar would be your hobby"
Drake: " and Why you think that playing the guitar won't be my hobby"?
Joy: Hmm. I just never thought that you would be kind of a person, who could play the guitar as a hobby"?
Drake: Oh!! so what kind of a person do you think I am? joy? (he said mischievously).
Drake suddenly came closer to Joy as he said this, Joy became nervous as Drake came this close to her, that she could not breathe, she could feel his breath, she took a step back, Joy hesitated and said, " no, it's Just you are a doctor and I thought you would be kind of a guy who only studied in his life, so, so.
Joy hesitated and Drake came more closer to her and said, "So? " Joy was getting more nervous, but Drake took a step away, and laughed, " Hey it's okay, you don't have to be this nervous, I was just kidding, I was just trying to scare you, and I think I did.
Joy sighed deeply and said, Drake, you are too bad, How could you do that"?
" hahaha, laughed Drake mischievously and said, " I am sorry Joy, I was getting bored then you walked in so I thought of having some fun, so? do you wanna hear me Play? "
"huh? can you? sure, I would love to hear you play said Joy, and sat on the couch holding her face with both of her hand and looking at drake Playing the Guitar,
Drake sat beside her and plays his guitar so gracefully, he looked so romantic and hot while playing his guitar, his eyes were on Joy, and they were looking at each other with compassion and love in their eyes.
Love was growing between them and they did not have any idea about it, As Drake finishes playing the Guitar, joy looked away from him, and stood up and said, " hey that was so great, I loved it, you know what, I always had wanted to play the guitar, since I was in high school, but never got the chance to do that? but you were great Drake, I did not know that My Dumboo friend was so talented'.
"Hahaha, thank you joy, don't worry, If you want I can teach you; said Drake smiling.
Okay, but before that, It would be nice if you have some food." said Joy. " Okay, so, let's go to the Cafeteria, said Drake.
" No, We are not going to the cafeteria, You are not going to eat there until you fully recovered from your injuries, that food is not healthy, and even at your apartment all I could find were a water bottle, what you need Drake is a healthy food, so From now onwards, you are going to eat this," said Joy as she took out the lunch she brought for him.
" Is this for me? Joy? you cooked for me? "said Drake as he holds the box in his hands, a wide smile spread on his face, like getting injured in the accident was not that bad.

As Drake was eating, a piece of food got on his lips, Joy took the tissue paper and went near him to wipe it with the Tissue paper and said, eat slowly drake, or you would put this food all over your face.

but Before Drake could say or do anything, Joy backed up, she stood and said, " Okay, don't forget to finish it, I need to get to work now, I will see you later Drake, my Dumboo friend. Okay, Bye" and Joy left hurriedly.
