As days were passing by Drake and Joy love was blooming. They were happy together. Joy was happy, she has friends, she has love in her life but still, sometimes she would think of Lisa, How Lisa would be? Is she well?
Few weeks ☁🔅⏳⏳passed by since Drake and Joy got together.
Joy woke up early in the morning, cleaned house and went to wake up Drake.
" Drake? you are still asleep🤨, it's 8 already, won't you be late for Work😕😕? Drake? Are you going to wake up or I should Throw some water on you to wake you up😜😜", said joy as she enters the room and saw Drake still asleep.
But Drake didn't wake up, Joy took the bottle from the side table and pour some water on Drake with a mischievous smile on her face😛😏😜. (🤭🤭)
Drake woke up annoyingly🤨🤨 and looked at Joy narrowing his eyes.
" Joy, why would you do that to a Sleeping person🤔, I did not know you were that, Naughty😏😏," said Drake as he tried to take the bottle from Joy's hand.
" Because it's fun, waking you up this way😛😍😄," said Joy laughingly😂😂.
Drake looked at Joy who was laughing😂😂 at him after throwing water on him, Drake smiled😏😚 at Joy, He grabbed her hand and pulled her over the bed🛏🛏.
He was above her on the bed looking at her smiling mischievously😍😛🤭, he took the bottle from her and opened it to pour some water on her too.
" So, is this fun, pouring water on someone, let me try that too, my love💖", said Drake smiling.
Joy tries to push him but he was too strong and was holding her tightly💖💖.
" Drake, Don't you dare pour this water on me, I am telling you," said Joy looking at him.
Drake laughed and said, " Oh!! But I would Joy", said Drake and he lifted the bottle to pour water on Joy🤭🤭.
Joy closed her eyes 😣and held Drake's other hand. Drake stopped and looked At Joy. He smiled🤭😄😄.
Drake went close to Joy, The Water drops from his face fall on Joy's Lips����💖🔥 he looked at her smiled😍 and he kissed her💋🔥💏.
Joy opened her eyes and held his hand tightly and looked him in the eyes. Drake with wet hair and wet clothes looks so hot🔥🔥, it was an Intense moment🔥, Joy couldn't take her eyes off from him💖, she gulped.
Drake looked at Joy with keen eyes and went close to her ear and said, " Don't blame me for doing this, your naughty behaviour made me do this, it's you who started this, My love💖😍."
Joy could feel Drake wet lips on her ear. She blushed and a shy smile 😍spread over her face, she looked at Drake to say something but Drake kept her finger on joy's lips🤫🤫 and said, " I told you Don't blame me."
" Drake?" said joy but before she could say anything else he put his wet lips👄 on her lips suddenly 👄and started kissing💋💏🔥 her deeply, passionately🔥👅 like he is crazy for her.
Joy could feel his wet lips👄, his wet chest over her, She held Drake's hand tightly💖����🔥. he kissed her lips💋💋, then her ears👂, then her eyes 👀and again her lips👄🔥.
They could feel each other's breathing💏🔥🔥, Drake looked at Joy and then took his wet t-shirt off and threw it on the floor.
Drake leaned towards Joy and brought his lips👄 near joy's ear👂 and said, " I love you, Joy Gilbert, you have no idea How Crazy I am for you💖💕, and I am always gonna be💖." and he kissed Joy's forehead💋.
As Drake went to kiss Joy on Lips, Joy stopped him, she put her hands on Drake's chest and stopped him.
" Don't you have to go on work Drake😍🤭? look at the Time?" said Joy as she looked at Drake.
" I think that could wait, My love💖💕", said Drake as he went close to Joy to kiss 💋her.
But Joy put her finger on Drake's Lips👄 and said, " No, It can't, You are already so late for work🤭🤭" and she pushed him to another side of the bed.
" Drake took a deep breath and said," you are so bad��, Joy.
Drake tries to held Joy's hand but Joy hurriedly stood up from the bed.
" Okay, now go and take shower, I would prepare breakfast for you till then," said Joy and left with a smile on her face.
As it was getting late Joy asked Drake to go and said she would bring his lunch to the hospital.
In Noon, Joy prepared Lunch for Drake and went to the hospital. After Mama passed away, Joy does not have the courage to come to the hospital, this is where her Mama took her last breath, Joy did not even have the courage to start working here that's why she did not even take the night shift, she just did not want to be at a place where she lost someone she loved so much, but this was also the place where she finds the love of her life. It was quite confusing, two people, two different emotions and the same place.
As Joy reached the hospital, she looked around and went to the elevator to the 14th floor.
As the Elevator stopped at the 14th floor, the door opened, but Joy can't get out, It was the Floor where her Mama was.
Joy closed her eyes took a deep breath and came out. Joy has to pass through the ICU Room where her Mama was kept and where her Mama took her last Breath.
As Joy passes through the ICU room, She stopped😔, she came near the door, she knew there was no one inside but still to her it felt like her Mama was in there.
Joy held the door knobe tried to turn it but she couldn't gather the courage to open it😔😣. her heart was sinking in pain deep down inside, She could remember the times when she used to go in this room and meet her Mama and tell her everything, sitting beside her.
Joy opened the door and went inside, the bed was empty, Joy looked around the room.
" It's Empty in here, Mama I miss you😢😢, I am sorry Mama, I couldn't be here in your final moments😢, I am sorry mama, I am sorry," said Joy as her eyes got teary😢.
Joy sat there for a while beside the empty bed as she used to when her Mama was there.
Meanwhile, Drake was lost in thoughts smiling����😍😍 in his cabin waiting for Joy eagerly, he was thinking about this morning, about the moment they had together. He could not stop thinking about Joy, he was just waiting for her.
After a While, Joy gathered herself, wiped her tears and went out of the ICU room. Joy did not want Drake to see her this way, she put a smile on her face and went to his cabin.
Drake was waiting for Joy wandering here to there in his office🤔🤔🤔, as she saw Joy coming, he hurriedly went to open the door🤭. As Joy saw Drake opening the gate before even she knocked, she looked at him with love and said, "Hey😄😄! I brought the" but Drake did not even let her finish what she was saying, he grabbed 💖her hand and pulled her inside the cabin💖, pushed her to the wall softly and started kissing her💋💋🔥 passionately.
He separated his lips from her and looked at her, joy's eyes were closed, he caressed her hair, put her hair behind her ear and said," I've been waiting for you for the last hour Joy, where were you?" asked Drake as he looked at Joy with keen eyes smiling💕.
" I am sorry, I got late, but first have your food then we could talk," said joy and she set the plate.
Drake asked her to eat with him, they had lunch together. After the lunch, as Joy said Bye to Drake and turned to leave, Drake held her waist from the back and pulled her close💕💖 to him said, " Do you really have to go? Can't you stay a little longer for me?"
Joy smiled😚😚 and turned, she put her arms around his neck💖 trying to hide the sadness that she felt today when she went in the ICU room and looked at him and said, "I would be home when you would come, and I have to go to the grocery store, But I would be home before you come, Okay?"
Joy hugged Drake and kissed him on the cheeks👄💕. But Drake did not want to let go of her, he pulled her more closer and was about to kiss her.
But Embrey barged in without knocking on the door.
" Hey, Drake, I heard?" said Embreyas she came in and saw Joy and Drake standing so close to each other and were about to kiss.
Embrey looked away and said, " Uh!! I am so sorry, I should have knocked first."
As Joy saw Embrey she pushed Drake away and looked at Embrey and said, " Hey! Embrey, It's okay, we weren't doing anything(🤭🤭🤭),I was just leaving."
"But I came to meet you Joy, Nurse Martha said she saw you and I wanted to meet you, so I thought I would find you here."
Drake smiled at Embrey and gave her a look that depicts that she barged in the room in a very wrong time ( wasn't that the same when once Joy barged in the same way when Embrey was about to kiss her🤭🤭).
Embrey looked at Drake and smiled and said, " Okay, but Joy where are you going now?"
"I am going to the grocery store, then I would go home," said Joy.
"Okay, then I would drop you at the Grocery store, I too, was going home, so we can go together if you want?" said Embrey smiling.
"Okay, let's do that, " said Joy and she left with Embrey. Joy and Embrey talked a lot in the car then, Embrey dropped Joy at the grocery store.
After Drake got off from his work, he reached home, as he reached home smiling, he opened the door, he saw Joy was sitting on the couch. she was sad, there were slight tears in her eyes.
As Joy saw Drake she looked away to hide her tears, but Drake could sense joy was sad, He sat beside her and looked at her.
" Joy, Joy? Look at me" said Drake and he held Joy's chin to look at her. " were you Crying?" Why your eyes are so swollen Joy? What happened Joy? Please tell me?" said Drake in w worried tone.
Joy tried hard to hide 😢her tears and to not bother Drake with her problems. But Drake knew something happened that Made Joy cry he asked her again.
" Drake, I saw Lisa today at the Grocery store😢😢, she was with that man" she did not even look at me? She acted like she does not even know me, Drake" said Joy as tears fell from her eyes.
Drake hugged💖 Joy and said, " Hey!! It's okay baby💕💖, did not I tell you? that you could talk to me about everything, you don't have to hide your pain and tears from me Joy."
Joy looked at Drake with tears😢😢 in her eyes and said, " I thought, I would be able to let go of every pain with time, but it still hurts Drake, It still does, she is my sister Drake, and she just treated me like I am nobody for her, I am trying so hard to let go of everything and live my life, but nothing works out for me Drake, Nothing😔😢😢" said joy.
Drake held joy in his arms and hugged her. he knew How hard it is for Joy to let go of everything that she suffers and start a new life with him. he understands her pain and wants to be a part of her pain.he wanted to everything that would make Joy feel better and live happily.
He hugged her tightly and wiped her tears. Joy looked at Drake with love and said, " Thank you, Drake, for being with me, I don't know If you weren't with me, what would Have I done?"
Drake embraced joy with love💖, he lifted her in his arms 💕and took her to his room and put her on the bed with love.
As Drake turned to leave Joy held his hand💖 and said, " Can you sleep here tonight, by my side, I don't want to be alone."
Drake lied beside her on the bed holding her in his arms.
"Is there something else bothering you Joy😟😟? asked Drake as he looked at Joy who was still sad and lost in thoughts.
Joy looked at him with love💖💖, there were slight tears in her eyes😢, she went close to him and put her head on Drake's chest and said," No, I just want to sleep, Don't leave my side, Drake."
Joy closed her eyes. Drake kissed her forehead and caressed her hair.she falls asleep in a few minutes. Drake looked at sleeping Joy and wondered, " I know how hard it is for you Joy to stay in this city, seeing Lisa, coming to the hospital that reminds you of your Mama, I know you are trying hard to overcome your past but If it still hurts, then we would leave this place joy, we would go somewhere too far, where I won't ever let your past memories to come near you."
Finally, when Joy was getting over her past, her past was not ready to leave her yet, would Drake help Joy to get over this? would Drake love win over Joy's past? or would her past make joy push the love of her life away from her?
