Maya sucks in sharp breath at his question and stares at him surprised.

She starts feeling her breaths itching and gulps suppressing this overwhelmingly strange feeling.
She is still young to understand this feeling, after all.
She asks calmly as he felt him tensing "Why would it mean anything to me?".
Xavier asks curiously "Then why are you still here? You said you don't like being a Queen and even this marriage doesn't mean anything to you. What's stopping you from going out of this?".
Maya went speechless at this suddenness and gulps 'How could I tell you? That I have found a purpose here...'.
