Charles's words made Hunt think deeply.
In truth, they had been working on this mission for years and were already 80% close to being successful.
As long as they figured out a way to bypass the 'Time Lock,' they could succeed without relying on Charles's help.
Unfortunately, time wasn't on their side.
'But if Charles somehow fails this mission, our years of hard work will go into dust.' A hesitant look appeared on his face.
"Don't hesitate, Hunt. In truth, our plan to steal the 'S-13' is a reckless one and might cost the lives of countless people. Even if we succeed, most will not survive the Church's mad hunt. On the other hand, Charles promised not only to get the artifact by himself but even to give us time to form an escape route. And even if he fails the mission, I'm 100% sure he can at least escape safely. Although we might lose years of hard work, isn't our life more important than a mission to extend a single person's lifespan?"
