The sky is dark
Yet the dark clouds are approaching
I'm surrounded by pitch darkness
Suddenly, the flashy lightning appeared
My ears deafened by the booming thunder
The wind blew furiously
Even the sturdiest trees swayed violently
The rain began to pour heavily
And I'm shivering in the cold
With only a cloth wrapped around me
I depended on it for warmth
But, I only felt even colder
I couldn't go anywhere else
Everyone had left me here all alone
Since I was considered a plague
They left this village
So that I won't infect them
They burnt all my belongings
So there won't be a trace of me
All they ever wanted
Was to erase my existence from here
Why can't they understand
That I'm just different from them?
Is it a terrible crime
That I can think differently from them?
Maybe it's because I was strong
And didn't surrender at their torture
All they did was hurt me physically
But the fire in me didn't die out
Too many atrocities have been committed
And I don't have the strength to stop them
As I clench the soil I was born on
And taking my last breath
I reminded myself of what I told them
Before they abandoned me here
'Your end is near'
I have seen the fire
I've seen it in the eyes of one of them
He'll bring down the evil in these people
