Its been 9 months since Jack fought Adine. Jack is able to use coloured haki ; his strength increased 50% using it.
It was really hard to for him ; he doesn't know why. He thought about and asked Z. " Being able to use it within 9 months is not an easy task. It is different from observation haki ".
" You need to fight strong to increase armament haki. One cannot increase it only with training ", Z explained. Jack now can understand about his slow progress and how luffy was able to get strong within 2 years.
" Beside that, what is your doriki value ? ", Z asked him after a while. " Its nearly 2900. It is getting hard to increase ", Z was astonished to hear that many can't become that strong with in 3 years.
He thought Jack is a genius to master them. Now seeing his progress Z thinks him as a monster. Even without my help he can get strong, Z thought.

Z took them to 4th mission to confront pirate group. It was night at that time the incident took place.
Five people arrived at the warship. Leo was talking with a fellow recruit on the deck. He was shocked to see 5 members on a carpet.
By the time his got serious one appeared in front instantly to slice him. Leo used tekkai to defend as he can't dodge.
The wound was deep as it sliced his stomach. Jack woke up to a painful shout and got shocked as he used his haki.
It took less than a second for Jack to kick him ; they were shocked to see him. Soon Z and others arrived.
Other recruit took him from Jack and ran to treat his wound. Ain is staring at him as he is not wearing any shirt.
" Teacher, I don't think others are strong enough to fight ", Jack advised Z. One shouted at Jack, " Everyone go inside its an order ", Z stopped him.
" I don't think so ", one of the five waved his hand and cards flew at recruits. Jack unleashed his lightning ; all the cards were turn into balls.
Jack seem to awake his fruit ; since cards are of metals. Soon recruits got inside and one was shocked to see Jack using it. He didn't thought that he was defeated by Jack without using his devil fruit powers.
Only Z and Jack are now facing them. Jack saw Adine among them ; " So, it is your gang ". Z started fighting one having long sword with green sheath.
Jack faced others. One took cards , a women turned her hair into needles ; another is using knuckles and Adine is using sword.

Jack went behind Adine and grabbed his throat. He used 80 million directly. " One down", Jack released him. The other who was like a giant punched him with haki but was knocked out.
The two who saw this got furious started their attacks. The man throw cards at him , various animals came from the cards. She changed her hair into numerous needles ; pierced Jack with haki.
Jack didn't do anything. Lightning formed a field around Jack like it is protecting him. Needles passed through him even with haki.
Seeing it both ran to their Leader. Jack shot a jolt with his hands. Seeing all down, Jack went for the Leader.

Z was in a pitiful with cuts all over his body. His opponent seem to be a master swordsman. Z is weak compared to peak state.
He is using sword energy multiple times. Jack made a lightning spear ; seeing a spear of lightning facing him. He made a bigger sword energy to face it. The sword energy is half strong as Mihawk.
Seeing him exhausted Z took this chance to hit him with full force. Jack smiled, " Its seems you got weak, teacher ". Z got angry, "Shut up brat, Its been 10 years since I fought , so my body is stiff ".
All recruits cheered seeing them down. Jack asked Ain about Leo, she replied, " He is safe ", without seeing him. Jack smiled at her.
Some locked them in the warship. Jack energy was rapidly drained in the fight. He seem to forcefully got into awakening stage ; so he went to kitchen to eat.

Jack is now with all the five prisoners who are now awake. They seemed to be less than 25 years. Among them their leader seem to be more stronger than Z , he unleashed Conqueror's haki at last move.
Jack was able to fight due to forced awakening of his devil fruit. If he didn't, he shivered thinking about it.
Some recruits were unconscious due to it. "How did you know our location ? ", seeing them not answering. Jack sighs and smashed his face repeatedly for a while with full strength.
" Why would we tell you, you lap dogs ? ", Adine shouted at him.There is a story in their past ; Jack thought and got interested in them.
