The listeners gasped in shock. They could not fathom how those "violent" people had allowed Yu Qi and Long Hui to walk away unharmed.
"Are you absolutely sure you spoke with them?" The villager asked again, his voice trembling slightly.
"I believe so." Yu Qi nodded calmly.
The village leader, having heard the commotion from afar, hurried over to join them. "You actually went to see them?" He asked, his eyes fixed on Long Hui.
"Yes." Long Hui replied simply.
"That is impossible." The village leader found it very hard to believe.
"Well, I don't know whether it is the truth or not, but I asked them about the person whom they almost killed. They told us the reason why they did that," Yu Qi stated.
"Why?" The village leader asked immediately.
"That is because the person was trying to rob them. That was why they attacked that person and almost killed him." Yu Qi explained to the villagers.
