His words made it chillingly clear that he was already plotting how to deceive their families so that no search party would ever come looking for them.
At that moment, Shino suddenly poked his head out of Dian Chi Ne's pocket and scrambled out.
Dian Chi Ne was caught off guard and instinctively reached out to try and cover him back up. However, it was already too late. The dark-faced man had already spotted the little creature.
"Oh? What a cute little pet you have there." The dark-faced man remarked with a raised eyebrow.
Ignoring the villain completely, Shino climbed up onto Dian Chi Ne's shoulder and leaned close to her ear.
"My Master is already right outside." Shino whispered softly in a voice only she could hear
After delivering his message, Shino perched boldly on Dian Chi Ne's shoulder, glaring down the dark-faced man without a shred of fear.
