Perched on a thick branch high in a tree, Bing Shi watched as a group of fierce looking beastmen approached her.

Ferals were known for only obeying the laws of nature. They had no qualms about kidnapping females from beastmen villages, and even went as far as to kill their mates to take them.

It stemmed from their cold blood heritage that made them less civilized and more aggressive. Snakes, scorpions, spiders or crocodiles, these were the kind of ferals that had been attacking the sheep village.

And then there were the abandoned males, normal beastmen whose spousal imprint was forcefully broken. Having nothing to lose, their morals were on par with the ferals.

The diverse group of five saluted her, "Reporting for duty, Ma'am."

Bing Shi looked them over. Juliet at the front with a red scorpion tail, Liam with a snake tongue, Alain with bear ears, Douglas with crocodile eyes. Henry had no animal traits beside the hawk feather earring dangling off his right ear.
