I woke up really tired but I had to get up. I start work in 20 minutes. The cafe I work at isn't so bad, my best friend works there with me. I get ready and leave without eating breakfast. The wind outside is nice and cool, I can feel the sun warming me up.
I get to the cafe to see my boss Jin looking at his clock. "Maria when will you stop. coming late?" he asked a bit annoyed like always. "you know if you keep getting mad, you're going to get wrinkles" I said in a very sarcastic tone. "where is lisa by the way?" he looked at the back of the small cafe "In there" he said.
I walk to the back of the cafe to see my best friend Lisa getting things ready to open up. "Let me help you" I tell her as I see she is trying to carry something heavy. "oh Maria your here, sure thanks for the help". I put the trays down and I get ready to open up the shop.
I turn the sign to show that we are open and now I officially start work today. 2 hours pass by and things go by normal just like every other day. A guy walks into our cafe, someone I've never seen. "Can I get a cup of black coffee please?", his voice is so deep and nice. "Right away sir" I say in a very polite voice. He pays me and leaves me a huge tip. I give him his coffee and I see that he is reading a book.
2 other guys come in afterwards, they are both really rude and annoying. "Hey!" yelled of of the guys. "Give me 2 cups of coffee, and you better hurry up!". I could see that Lisa was scared of them but she got their coffee anyway. "what the hell is this crap!" they guy yelled at Lisa and made her jump. "I-it's coffee like you asked sir", she said in a very scared tone. The man threw the coffee on the floor and kept harassing Lisa. It made me blood boil to see him do that.
"Sir you need to calm down or I will have to kick you out" I said that in a calm voice so they wouldn't get more worked up. "Shit your mouth you little brat!" at that point I couldn't just let them stay. "Please leave this establishment and never come back" I tried to sound serious. The man slaps Lisa and punches me in the face, at this point I'm beyond mad but I dont show it.
I see the man from earlier get up to try and help but I stop him. "Please sir, let me deal with this", he looked at me confused. " Are you sure about this?, your nose is bleeding". I didn't notice that I was bleeding until now, "It's okay sir, I will be fine. Please let me deal with this" he looks at me and nods.
I turn back to the man that hit me and lisa. He tries to punch me again but I block him, then I kick him in the face making him fall on the floor. I grab his arm and break it while I punch him one more time. I whisper to him so no one else can hear "You have 3 seconds to leave before I kill you". The man runs away terrified while the other one follows.
The Mans Perspective
Wow I've never seen a girl who doesn't freak out over a nose bleed. Who is she, and what did she whisper to that guys ear? I keep thinking this until she approaches me. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, we would be happy to give you a refund" she looks so beautiful but who is she? "It's fine" I tell her "there is nothing to worry about, may I ask for your name?" she looked at me curious and said "My name is Maria sir" Maria huh? I need to find out who she really is.
