In this game, Unnamed didn't have anything like a health bar, but rather a status indicator: Minor Injury, Serious Injury, Amputation, Disability, Death, and so on.
And true to a 5-star game's difficulty, in the heat of battle, Ren Suo could use "Flash Step."
