Chapter 26 - Maxmillion at school Part 4 Oswald and a student arrives

Things continued at a normal pace. Nothing terrible happening which was good. However, that changed when Max made it to school. The possible serial killer at the school disappeared somehow. Even Max was suprised. The demon shadowing statement was the worst.

'She just disappeared. There one moment then the next.' Stalker said.

'It is fine for now. Even I cannot track anything. I believe you.' Max sent back. 'Continue on your other work keeping a lookout in the city.' Feeling the demon break the connection, He focused on class.

.

-After class-

.

"Ugh." Max groaned as he pushed his eyes to the limit. The idea of the person disappearing under the demon's nose and untraceable drove him crazy. But it workes proving how dangerous the eyes he received were. 'Blasted stupid fifth dimensional creatures.'

(Qwsp is not as bad as Mxyzptlk from what your memories say. Or as useless as Bat-Mite. More of a Gray area that involves himself with Aquaman.) The A.I. recited as much information it could to organize things with him. (His level over power is dangerous in your current state. but it will take longer for your next Realm advancement as is. More contracts need to be established to deal fatal blows to him.)

Max and the A.I. formed a plan for the future but it would still take a bit to do anything. The voice of one of the students pissed him off. Namely what they were saying.

"Shut up Oswald." Max said gruffly. A few students looked at him with interest. "You are just another fake intellectual. You know what it takes to be popular yet act the way you do. It is stupid. So many so-called genius's the same thing."

"What do you mean?" Edward asked.

"I mean, if you who think things are beneath them hate it so much, do everyone else a favor and just leave. Go ahead and test out if you have what it takes. Go ahead and prove how smart you are instead of scheming like a little psycho."

"What do you know about it Wayne?! Silver spoon in your mouth. Bet you never went hungry before in your life!" Oswald did not like this one bit. "You have never suffered. You know nothing!" His personal dilike of the Wayne family showing.

Max stood up and took his shirt off in front of everyone. Burn marks visible along his body. Cuts and large scars along his torso. He then took his pants off next. He had shorts on underneath. Slowly he stepped in front of Oswald.

"Burn marks from when the fire broke out at the manor." Max pointed at his left side. A four inch mark was there. His finger moved to his belly button. "Burned almost completely open. Burnt wood made it into my bloodstream. The firefighters thought nothing happen since I was not fusing and my breathing was fine. The Emt that checked me over saw it though. Freaked her out that I was not crying."

"Max.." a student said lowly. Oswald looked away unable to look at Max.

"I spent a long time in the hospital. Recovering enough to be able to move again. Fed through a tube and breathing thanks to machines. When it was over enough, I had to learn to walk again and move again. To young to have surgery so I lived through the pain. " Max had a far away look on his face. "But I got through it. The physical therapy was boring and took a lot of my time away."

He raised his leg up and pointed at spots were his bones had pierced his body. On both legs. It was caused from him cultivating his body while in the hospital to speed up recovery.

"I fell down a lot learning to recover. Skin grafts didnt help much either. A few infections here and there to make things worse." Max grabbed his pants and put them back on. Reaching for his shirt he stopped and pointed at his spine. "32 surgeries just to make sure I could walk fine in the end. No pins or screws. That would have ruined my life. All natural for the most part now."

"I didn't know." Oswald said lowly. "You looked fine at the prep school before."

"That was after. I wore long sleeves then for a reason. People just talked to much. So I had to give them a little adjustment." Max sat back in his seat. "But this place is a lot better anyway. Just a few losers that like to make life annoying for others. Like the druggie and false intellectuals."

"I.." Oswald turned and left the classroom.

"Max... you were ready to hurt him. But you didnt. That is good." Claire said from in front of him. She didnt know what else to say to that.. display. On the beach at night, he didn't look that bad.'

'I am starting to see why Noveria had that set up for me to start like that. Rich but a reason to relate to people with struggles and hard upbringing. It's not like I can say, hey in my original life, I came from a middle-class family and its ok. I get what you have been through.' Max just sighed and enjoyed the rain that started. "Haaa, what nice weather.

.

-Park walk in Seattle-

.

Everyone felt a little off. So they took a walk to the park since most sports were canceled. The rain didn't make it there which was a little weird. Max had used a spell to have them walk all the way to a park in Seattle. they noticed nothing. Besides the few that were exposed to magic already.

Some were getting hotdogs while Max and John were just throwing a football back and forth. He felt a disturbance form up in a few states away. John actually felt it to. From the look on his face was an indicator. After a quick look around, Max disappeared.

John felt whatever came lock on to him.

A portal opened and out floated a pale-skinned woman. A red diamond shined on her forehead. Her purple caped fluttered in the wind. Slowly she hovered trying to locate her target. A purple mirror floating in front.

"Found you!" In an instant, she teleported towards Max who was at the park with a few others. She waited behind a tree before turning her clothes to match the surroundings. "Much better. Now to introduce myself and go from there. Where did he go?"

"Boo!" Max said from behind the woman.

"Ahhh not funny Master!" The woman yelled. A few people looked at them but continued after seeing they knew each other. "Ugh I do not feel so good."

The woman hands started to fade away for a moment. Then her entire body did next.

"Oh dear." Max rubbed his chin but waved his finger casting a spell. "Remain in dimensional time." Reality froze for just a second before continuing again. "You should have taken a temporal band or at least used a temporal spell."

"Not enough time." The woman groaned. "If you would not have scared me, we wouldn't have this problem. I was supposed to pass the letter and..." she searched rapidly for it. "Where did it go!?"

"You mean this letter?" Max held a black piece of paper in his hands. "Why do you have one of my contracts?"

"You gave it to me. Come on, do not tease and just read it please." The woman pouted.

Max's eyes flared with Spiritual energy before he read it over. And even then it was after he put a few escape guards up and the A.I. scanned it.

*Crumple!* The contract disappeared as Max received a bunch of info. It was passed onto the A.I. to deal with.

"Neat." Max smiled and looked her over. "Ok so just call me Max. And no need to keep that disguise. You cant act like your normal self but do not release it here."

"Ok." The woman's posture went from defenseless to confident with a slight shift in her body posture. In her eyes, she looked mischievous as hell. "So, you ready to sign a new one Raven?"

"Yes, but not here. I want to talk first."

"Fine. Come to this address later. You are fine for now. Just do not betray me like you did in the future." Max walked away to rejoin the others. He missed the hurt look on the woman's face as he left.

"Sorry Master... had no choice. I had to make sure the Teen Titans lived. Made sure my family lived." Raven sulked. Up above the sky looked gloomy as if to rain.

.

-Later That Day-

.

"I just do not want that future to happen again." Raven said.

"It cant. The moment t you talked to me it vanished. I exist outside dimensional logic. That is why you telling me, effected you earlier. " Max sipped his orange juice and looked out over the city. "You started to fade because you no longer existed because you're future no longer existed. The moment you called me Master, my cultivation started to change and those connected to me as well. A small quick ripple bit a ripped none the less."

"The temporal did what exactly?"

"Removed you from existence and brought you back after your dimension ceased to exist. Which is fine since only 20 people existed left."

"Yeah... we kind of messed up big." Raven looked down sadly. "We should have listened to you and not touch that place."

"The Source Wall is a pain in the ass." Max smirked. The 20 that survived were people he cared about currently. Most of the others died from old age and turning back to regular mortals. "To think, Superman, Wonderwoman, Darkseid, Flash and High Father agreed to it. Such a shame."

"Will you continue to help Earth? Even though the Justice League and Injustice Society caused everything to go badly in the end?" Raven asked on pins and needles waiting for an answer.

"Yup. If the changes I implemented recently do not work, I will just take who I care about and leave. Leaving Earth still around of course." Max stared at her purple eyes with interest. "What will you do now that you are here? Your husband is to young for you to interact with. Especially after you lost him in the future."

"I will.. just relax and prepare. I tons of battles to get ready for. I need to prepare myself again." Raven stood up and stopped when the contract appeared in front of her. "Oh?" She signed and was happy with the restrictions. They were not that bad. As well as as a place to stay again. "Goodnight Master."

"Goodnight Raven Grayson." Max leaned in his chair as he digested the info. The A.I. started adding additional countermeasures based on the data. Even though the present already changed for the future, the differences would be easy to adjust for in the future. "Hmmm to think Olympus fell thanks to Diana's hands. Guess I will have to make sure the Amazons have a little more strength in the future."

*Bwoom!* Sent a message through a portal with items. It went to key women across the globe in several locations. It would trigger the magic that Themyscira had in place. On the island, the Watchful Mothers would see these women and send their sisters to speak with them.

(Scenario started. Rise of Themyscira.)

.

-Themascyria-

.

On the said island, the Amazons had returned weeks ago there time. Countless magical checks went to into what happen to them and over the area they stood. All of the Amazon women that wished to bare children were pregnant. At least 87 women of various ages agreed to come with them.

Currently, they were learning the customs.

"This is something from an old friend." Queen Hippolyta said. She looked out at them and raised her sword. Light bathed out showing them each in different clothing and fighting wars in a different time and place. "We fought with him and our gods. In a battle that has long since been forgotten."

"Boudicca, that is you and him. You seem togethor." Tharna said unsure.

"Why do I not remember?" Boudicca look intently and felt the images were very real. Something inside stirring as she focused on it.

"Signs of the times. When we die, by the grace of the gods, we return to them and recover for a time. When they are able, we return once again to live our lives as mortals. Upon death or close to death, I come to you all and bring you back here. Sometimes you remember, sometimes you do not." Queen Hippolyta looked saddened. "For him to be here, things most be disastrous."

"Why not tell us?" Tharna asked.

"I have tried once before. Sometimes it does not go over well. Painful memories come when trying to force it. That is why I tell you all to study our history. It is in the archives." Queen Hippolyta said. "Be careful. I know curiosity will get the better of you. I can only shield you all so much."

"Mother, why does he call you Hippoly?" Diana asked. She saw a slight blush on her mother's cheek. "Mother! You cannot mean.."

"No! It is not like that at all." Hippolyta admonished her daughter. "He was my adoptive brother when I reincarnated once. A good elder brother that taught me a lot of things. He had troubled with my name, so he called me that for short. Both mine and someone else."

"Who?"

"Me." A voice said from the surroundings.

*Swish!* Swirling clouds and a peacock feather appeared. It formed into an extravagant woman. The Goddess Hera. The women bowed as she passed by.

"Arise, you have all done well." Hera walked over to Hippolyta and gave a warm smile. "You have found brother. This is great. Just in time as the others are sleeping. Have you rembered more dear?"

"Only a little. Not enough to be of use."

"No matter. In time. I am here to talk about the island returning to the greater world in the future." Hera said calmly. The women flinched at the admission. "Not for at least 2 decades. If everything goes well. If things go bad however, much sooner. If he is here, then the whole World is at stake."

"Then we should prepare." Diana said. The others all nodding agreeing.

"I think it best to gives this to you." Queen Hippolyta said. She passed the necklace over. "I think you would know best what to do with this."

"It is for the island." Hera said. She touched the necklace and watched as it seperated into 10 pieces. Each one floating in front of different amazons. "These 10 are who deems worthy."

"Worthy of what?" Tharna asked.

"To receive a martial inheritance. But it is only for the island. They would have to stay here no matter what when the gems light up. Even if the island is on the verge of collapse." Hera looked wistfully as she felt a spell activate on the island. 'It has started. Glad it was a good one. Ohh Zeus lazy butt needs to wake up soon. If he does not, I am going to visit on my own.'
