Aris eyes widened, and she wanted to get up immediately but before she could move Hwang Tae-Kyeong hold her in place with his hands on her shoulders.
"It doesn't matter what you have been through or not, if you are used to it or not, as long as I am here I will not let you sleep on the ground!"
he said with a deep voice while looking into her eyes. Leaving no room for discussions.
She was surprised and even though she wanted to say something she kept quiet and nooded.
"Of course if you are worried about me I can just sleep beside you. It might be a bit small in a single bed, but I am sure we will both fit in here." he said while grinning.
`there he is again´ she thought while rolling her eyes.
Without responding she placed her blanket on the ground.
"If you want me to sleep in my bed than at least use the blanket. You shouldn't be on the cold ground."
Seeing that this was her compromise he just nodded.
Both fell asleep very soon.
In the middle of the night Hwang Tae-Kyeong woke up because he was freezing the blanket was too small to sleep on it and put it on him at the same time.
Looking at Ari he saw that she was deep asleep. He took the blanket and walked to her.
´She is even beautiful while sleeping.´ he thought.
He caressed her face with the back of his hands only to realize that she was ice-cold.
His eyebrows furrowed. "I am sorry." he whispered then he lay down next to her and put the blanket on both of them.
Ari was in a deep sleep but her body immediately responded to the heat source, and she snuggled against him.
He was pleasantly surprised and embraced her so that they could both keep each other warm.
What a beautiful night! He fell asleep with a little smile on his face.
