Chapter 63 - Gossip

Standing between those two doors, Ari didn't know what to do.

At this time the secretary came out of her room and saw her.

With a smile she bowed slightly.

"Miss, come with me I will help you with your tasks."

Ari thanked her and followed her back to the secretary's office.

The secretary showed Ari how to use the tablet, how to prepare a schedule for the boss, and how to act in case of urgent matters.

Ari tried her best to listen and memories everything.

"Do you understand your tasks?"

"Yes, thank you for helping me!"

The secretary looked at Ari with a sincere smile and stood up.

"So this is my number, we will need to stay in contact for all those schedules. Now follow me, I will show you where your desk is."

Ari nodded and thought that she will be placed in a different floor because there wasn't another door, but the secretary walked towards Hwang Tae-Kyeons office.

A little panicked she grabbed the arm of the secretary.

"I can't enter there again. He just told me to go."

The secretary chuckled.

"It's alright no need to panic. The boss was just concerned about you."

´Concerned? Aha.`

When they went in Hwang Tae-kyeong didn't even raise his head, he was again concentrated on his work.

Ari looked at his side profile.

His eyes were focused on his screen, his fingers flew over the keyboard.

She could swear he didn't even blink once.

The secretary walked to a room attached to the office, as she realized that Ari didn't follow her she turned around and saw her looking at the boss.

If it weas anyone else she would get angry for such a behavior, but clever as she was, she knew that Ari was no ordinary women.

First she appeared all of a sudden, boss didn't let her go through the special training one needs to go if they wanted to be in his inner circle of workers.

The second point was, that her boss cared about Ari a lot. He told her to prepare a room for Ari and let her feel comfortable.

Being a professional, and going through the training, she didn't get herself busy with this potential gossip.

She was of course curious about Aris identity and why she suddenly showed up, but she would just stay quiet about it if no one told her.

She knew part of her being accepted for this job was because she was already married and had a few children.

And even if that doesn't mean that she might never fall in love again, she was really content with her life and wouldn't change or destroy it for someone who wasn't interested in anyone up till now.

The boss only hired workers for the inner circle when they were trustworthy, not interested in gossiping, loyal and most of all content with their life.

If one needs money, he wouldn't say no when asked, but he wouldn't accept someone who uses underhanded methods to get some money.

Ari and the secretary prepared the room together.

It wasn't much to do, only a bit of cleaning was necessary.

Afterwards a new laptop was delivered for Ari.

She had no idea how to work on it so the secretary showed her everything.

Being finally informed about everything, Ari was left alone.

The door was opened, so she could see Hwang tae-Kyeong from her spot.

He didn't even move one cm, only his fingers!

It seemed like hee had much to do, but Ari on the other side had absolutely nothing to do.

She wasn't stupid, everything the secretary showed her, which was part of her job, could be done in a few minutes up to an hour, she was paid for nothing.

That wasn't what she wanted!

Maybe she should tell him to let her do the job she had before?

THinking about how and when she should talk with him, his fingers suddenly stopped moving.

"Can you please stop staring at me. It is getting harder to concentrate."

he said while removing his eyes from the screen to look her into the eyes, a faint smile appeared on his face.

Only then did Ari realize that she stared the whole time at him.

`well now that I have his attention now...´

"Can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure" he said while gesturing to the chair in front of him.

She got up from her chair and walked to the one in front of him.

As soon as she sat down he started to talk.

"Today you don't have so much to do, see it as a first day privilege.

Starting tomorrow you will come to my place at 8 am, drive me to the office while giving me a short information about my schedule.

Afterwards, you will be at your desk, get to know the company the system and everything. We have meetings now and then, you will come along and I want you to work on an idea for a new product.

It doesn't matter what kind of product as long as it fits our concept, to help people.

You said you worked in a medical field so maybe you have some ideas in this area.

Be aware that those are my people, and I choose them carefully, but they are not from my inner circle and if you present bullshit they might talk bad about you and suspect my judgement in hiring you."

Aris eyes widened. What?

What, what, what??

"Wait! 8 am at your place? I don't know where you live, and if it is too far I will need to get up way to early!

Then presenting? Talk bad about me? I don't want to present anything, I have absolutely no idea about those things, moreover I don't want your employees to turn against you! What if shareholders will turn against you??"

She just wanted a peaceful life without standing in someones way, without danger or anything like that. Just a ordinary Life.

"There are no shareholders, beside me, my nephew and my mother. But those two have no idea about anything in here it is just so that they can live comfortably in this life.

About the 8 am, the company will give you a car, and about my place.."

"I don't have a driving license."

She was able to drive, she had one in germany, but it was too long ago and it wasn't a international license.

Hwang Tae-Kyeong looked at her and leaned back.

"I will help you find a good teacher so you will have one in a few weeks.

I still want you to be at my place at 8 am. I will send someone, so that we can train before we go to work."

"..." f*ck he wanted to train so early in the morning, couldn't he just forget about it?!

Seeing that she wasn't going to response, he just sat straight in his chair again, his fingers on the keyboard and started to work again.

"You can go back to your office and start you research."
