Located on the wide street outside the mall, it now looked desolate.
The street was clogged with abandoned cars, and one could occasionally spot traces of car accidents or even explosions.
Through those dust-covered car windows, one could also see blood splatter inside the vehicles, and even dismembered skeletons.
Many zombies were slowly shuffling their feet between the gaps of these cars, arms dangling, heads crooked at eerie angles, mouths slightly agape, and pairs of blood-red eyes seemingly lifeless.
But the occasional flash of ferocity in the depths of their eyes seemed to remind others that they were all dangerous beasts.
On the other side of the street was a park and green belt overgrown with weeds.
The plants that were once carefully trimmed now looked like monsters with fangs and claws.
Sharp thorns on the branches, serrated leaves...
However, upon closer inspection, one would notice a path that was temporarily cleared alongside the green belt abutting the mall.
