I wish to welcome the dawn, facing the light like a sunflower.
I will not cower.
I wish to be the sun, to bring joy and fun.
Either I succeed, and face the light, or I don't regret it.
Even if I fail and don't regret it, I won't forget it.
I will not forget the moonlight.
I will not forget facing you in the sunshine, how you brought me might.
My dreams stream down like tears.
My past filled with all my fears.
But even so, I wish to face the sun, and welcome dawn.
It's a new day, I and if I may,
I wish to continue on, facing dawn.
