The next day arrived and Yun joined his men at the west gate as they opened it for him to step out of Xiaopei while resting his greatsword on his shoulder. The gate stays open as Dian Wei and Zhang He join him.
They see the enemy approaching and Yun closes his eyes as he rams his greatsword into the ground before placing his palms together.
Dark clouds begin to form over their heads as Yun's whole body tenses up, while he radiates gray Qi, and he says, "I need some time."
"Alright," says Dian Wei as he pops his knuckles.
They are covered in light brown Qi as he sees Cao Cao's army approaching and he kneels on one knee. He raises his fist covered in Qi and strikes the ground.
The earth trembles underneath their feet when Dian Wei looks up and sees cracks in the earth which turn swiftly into two before multiplying into four spreading toward the enemy.
But the enemy is prepared as Xiahou Dun covers his Podao in red Qi before striking the ground stopping Dian Wei's distraction before shouting, "Forward!"
"Your turn," says Dian Wei as he smirks at Zhang He.
Zhang He takes his pike and covers it in light gray Qi and Dian Wei moves away making Zhang He ram his pike into the ground where Dian Wei stood just a moment ago.
Wind was released out of the pike making the cracks stretch into giant crates that swallowed some of the men charging at the trio.
"What is going on?" asks one of the men charging at the trio as the earth is now shaking wildly.
Xu Huang uses his sword and covers it in light blue Qi and rams it into the ground making water appear which fills the cracks and the men that fell into the crates swim out of it.
It slowed their advance as Dian Wei and Zhang He repeated this when lightning suddenly struck the ground from above followed by rain.
They then feel a hand on their shoulder and turn seeing Yun who steps forward and he stretches his hands toward the sky while shouting, "The Jade Emperor Art: Arthur-Style: Infinite Weapon Creation!"
A thousand spears made out of Gray Qi covered the sky making Cao Cao's army stop in their tracks as Yun looks at them and he lifts his right hand.
They all looked at Yun while the spears began to rotate in the air before Yun moved his hand down releasing all the spears which flew at the army.
They mercilessly massacre the frontline as Xiahou Dun and Huang Xu are barely defending themselves from the onslaught Yun created.
The men on the walls couldn't believe it. They were ready to die beside their Lord after seeing that the enemy army holding Xiaopei was their objective but now.
Now they would lay their body to rest to push the enemy back as Huang Zhong was aiming with the rifle trying to find Cao Cao who hadn't shown himself yet in the open.
The spears killed without discrimination as they drilled through the army with Xu Huang losing his left arm to them while Xiahou Dun lost his right leg.
They never thought that Yun still had aces up against this many men when they saw the spears not going for them again after they were wounded.
They looked around seeing that the spears only spared the wounded, dead, or those about to die. Yun was taking slow but firm steps forward showing his confidence followed by Dian Wei and Zhang He as Yun stretched his hand out like calling for something.
But his greatsword didn't move since Yun wasn't calling for it. He was calling for a weapon which he gave away.
Shouchun, at the same time the battle between Yun and Cao Cao, Zhao Zheng was beside Sun Quan as they had taken the city without much retaliation from Cao Cao's forces.
Zhao Zheng was looking at a map with Sun Quan and the others when his spear began to act weird as if something was pulling it.
"Is something wrong?" asks Sun Quan seeing Zheng holding on to his spear with desperation.
"The spear is trying to leave my side," says Zheng trying to hold on to it.
"Wasn't it your father's?" asks Huang Gai looking at it.
"Yes," says Zheng as Han Dang helps him.
"What if the spear is hearing your father's call. He was trained by an Immortal after all. He must have picked one or two of their tricks," says Huang Gai seeing how the two are struggling.
"Let them spear go," says Zhou Yu making everyone look at him surprised.
"What if Huang Gai said the truth then General Zhao needs the spear," says Zhou Yu as Han Dang lets go of it.
Zheng is dragged by the spear for a bit when he says, "What if the Immortal wants to reclaim the spear? It is the only heirloom I have of my family."
Zheng doesn't know what to do when he hears, "Let go of it."
"Mother?" asks Zheng as he hears his mother in his ears just a moment ago.
"He needs his spear for one last time," whispers Diao Chan into Zheng's ears.
Zheng let go of the spear which flew away at such a speed they had never witnessed before.
Back in Xiaopei, Yun is looking at the enemy when he shouts, "Cao Cao! Show yourself if you dare!"
"I am not afraid of you, Yun!" shouts Cao Cao hiding between the trees.
"Now is the time," says Pang Tong to Tang Shi who nods.
"Men to the North and South Gate. We are going to join the Lord!" shouts Tang Shi loud enough that his men could hear him.
The men begin to move as Pang Tong sees the battlefield before him when he hears, "Yun must lure him out of the forest."
"You can't get him?" asks Pang Tong as Huang Zhong shakes his head before aiming again.
"I could use my luck but I would rather rely on a bow and arrow instead of this," says Huang Zhong out of fear of hitting a tree instead of his target.
Yun was walking forward followed by Dian Wei and Zhang He when Yun opened his other hand and his greatsword moved toward his hand.
He gathers Qi into it as he shouts, "Sky Piercing Slash!"
He swings the greatsword in Cao Cao's direction sending two giant Qi waves that cut the trees as well as the unlucky soldiers who didn't evade the attack.
The trees fall as well as the separated bodies when Huang Zhong sees Cao Cao and he takes his shot. The bullet overflows the whole battlefield when a person right beside Cao Cao steps forward taking the bullet to his head.
"Damn!" shouts Huang Zhong as he puts the rifle down to reload it immediately.
Cao Cao on the other hand looked at his General, Li Dian. He was dead hit by a mysterious weapon. Fresh blood covered Cao Cao's face and he looked at Xun Yu who was also stiff from what had just happened.
Yun throws his greatsword at Cao Cao and misses him by some inches but Xun Yu wasn't spared by Yun's attack. Xun Yu lies on the ground separated into two looking at his lord still alive.
"My Lord, I th-," is all Xun Yu says before he dies.
Cao Cao didn't know what was going wrong. He planned this campaign twenty times in his head with all the information he had on Yun. But what Yun was displaying at the moment went leagues over their heads.
The spear that landed near Cao Cao moved again and Cao Cao followed its trajectory seeing it fly right into Yun's hand.
"We never had a chance," says Cao Cao realising it too late.
"You all underestimated me! I am Zhao Yun, the God of War! And now I won't hold back any longer!" shouts Yun pointing his spear at Cao Cao when Yu Jin stood between them.
He was holding his spear ready to face Yun only to find ten spears rushing at him. He deflected eight of them showing his martial prowess only for the two he couldn't deflect severing his right arm while the other pierced him through the chest.
Yun was like a monster in everyone's eyes when they saw him stretch his left hand out while his right hand was holding his spear near his head.
They could all see that he was aiming at Cao Cao when his spear radiated gray Qi. The people tried to throw themselves between Yun and Cao Cao only for Dian Wei and Zhang He to clear his path.
"Divine Spear!" shouts Yun releasing the spear which travels like a shooting star over the battlefield finding Cao Cao who tries to evade it.
Cao Cao lies on the ground thinking he evaded the attack when he suddenly feels pain. He looks to his right seeing his arm as well as parts of his torso missing.
He then realised that it wasn't about evading the spear but deflecting it as he saw that the spear didn't need to make contact with him.
"Am I going to die?" asks Cao Cao himself when he feels something pierce him from the back.
He looks down and sees the blade of a sword when he hears, "You should know that it was Zhao Yang who killed you. You should also know that your family will join you soon."
Cao Cao began to laugh out loud as Yun looked in his direction only to see the variable nobody took into account. Zhao Yang killed Cao Cao by beheading him when a hundred men attacked Cao Cao's remaining force from behind.
Yun was surprised by it as were the others as Yun saw his son put the head in some cloth while his men defended him. Those hundred men fought like they were one similar to Yun's first and second line but more precise when Yun noticed it.
They are using Qi more efficiently compared to the normal soldiers. They have Qi equally to his Generals which is dangerous in Yun's eyes but they seem to work in perfect sync with Yang.
"He created monsters to follow him into the Murim without me knowing about it," says Yun to himself as Cao Cao's banner was lying in the dirt while the Zhao banner was still standing on the wall.
