POV: 3rd Person
Location: Avengers Tower
The air in Avengers Tower felt charged, the weight of so many legends gathered in one place pressing down on everyone present. No one spoke. No one even dared shift in their seat.
Superman's voice broke the silence, calm yet carrying across the hall with effortless authority.
"I know every one of you is asking the same question—why are we here? Today, we intend to give you that answer… and a question of our own."
He stood tall, cape flowing like a banner, the light catching on the House of El's symbol across his chest. His confidence was unshakable, his presence commanding but not domineering.
Then came the hiss and click of machinery as Iron Man stepped forward, the mask of his helmet sliding back to reveal Tony Stark's sharp, charismatic grin.
"You're all here," Tony began, sweeping a glance across the gathered heroes, "because the world is changing—faster than anyone could've imagined. And as it changes, so do the threats that come with it." His tone was confident, practiced, like he'd given a thousand press conferences before. "If we don't adapt, we'll be caught off guard. And we all know what that leads to."
A ripple of unease ran through the crowd. Even some of the veterans exchanged glances.
Batman's turn. He stepped forward, his cape shifting just enough to catch the dim light, his eyes shadowed beneath the cowl. His voice, however, was cold steel.
"Everything has changed—and it's not slowing down. From giant monsters leveling cities… to villains who don't stay dead… to ancient magic bleeding into our world." His gaze swept across the crowd, lingering on Dr. Strange, then Zatanna, before continuing. "We can't afford to think small anymore. Not if we expect to survive what's coming."
He let the words hang.
Captain America stepped forward next, every movement precise, his shield strapped to his back. When he spoke, his voice was steady, calm, but full of conviction.
"We've all seen the cost when we stand divided. Cities fall. Innocents suffer. And each of us fights our battles alone." His blue eyes swept the gathered crowd. "But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that we are always stronger together. Unity isn't just an idea—it's survival."
Beside him, Wonder Woman moved with quiet strength, her golden armor glinting beneath the tower lights. She spoke with the clarity of a commander and the warmth of a protector.
"Human, mutant, god, or something else entirely—it doesn't matter. What matters is what we choose to do with the gifts we carry. Alone, each of us is strong. Together, we can be unstoppable. But more importantly—together, we can inspire."
Her words lingered like an echo, carrying weight beyond her volume.
Then Thor descended a step, Mjolnir resting against his shoulder. His booming voice carried the authority of a king and the fire of a warrior.
"Midgard faces perils that would stagger even Asgard. Beasts that shake the earth, sorceries that twist the stars, foes who would see this realm broken and burning. If we are to triumph, then we must stand not as scattered warriors, but as one mighty host!" He raised the hammer high, thunder rumbling faintly in response. "A storm united!"
The six stood together now, a wall of history, power, and purpose. Superman looked across the gathered heroes once more, his voice ringing out.
"That's why we've called you here. The Avengers. The Justice League. Two teams, yes—but today, we offer something greater. Something new."
Tony's grin widened as he gestured around the hall. "We're giving you all the same chance—to stand with us, to stand with each other. No walls. No borders. Just one team."
Batman's voice cut through the murmurs like a blade. "Heroes United."
The words echoed in the chamber, simple yet monumental.
Wonder Woman added the final note, her voice a promise and a challenge both.
"Today, you are given the choice. To join us. To rise. To be more than legends scattered across the world. To become Heroes United."
Silence followed—until the hall erupted in a storm of whispers, questions, and awe.
Captain America stepped forward, his tone resolute.
"Heroes United isn't just a team," he began, his voice carrying across the hall. "It's a coalition of those who fight against forces beyond the reach of law enforcement or any special agency. The world has changed—so must we."
Superman nodded, stepping beside him. "Not just the Avengers or the Justice League," he said, his voice calm but commanding. "But all of us. The Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Champions—and even those who choose to fight alone, for their own reasons and beliefs."
He looked across the gathered heroes, his cape shifting with the air currents. "But that ends today. It has to. Because the threats we face now can't be stopped by one hero, or two, or even six. It's going to take all of us—together."
Murmurs rippled through the crowd—some voices agreeing, others staying silent.
Batman's low, gravelly voice cut through the noise. "We know some of you… have different methods," he said. "Some of you don't see eye to eye with the person standing next to you—or with any of us up here." His eyes flickered to several faces in the crowd, tension briefly sparking between old rivals. "But we can't let those differences divide us—not now. Not when the world needs something greater."
Wonder Woman stepped forward, her presence commanding yet warm. "We may not all agree," she said, her tone rising with conviction, "but we can all believe in one thing—the world needs heroes now more than ever."
This time, the murmurs became nods. Even the most stoic faces softened with reluctant understanding.
Iron Man clapped his hands together, the sound echoing through the hall. "Okay, heartfelt speeches—check," he quipped, flashing a grin. "Now let's talk details."
With a flick of his wrist, a massive holographic globe appeared above the center of the room, blue light spilling over the gathered heroes.
"Those who choose to keep fighting the darkness on your own terms—no judgment," Thor said, his deep voice rumbling like distant thunder. "But know this—you are not alone. The storm gathers, and when it breaks, you'll have brothers and sisters to call upon."
Iron Man gestured, and a hologram of a sleek, credit-card-sized device appeared beside the globe. "Everyone who joins will receive one of these—an identification card that grants you access to a shared network and encrypted database. Think of it as our version of a superhero hotline. If you ever bite off more than you can chew—or find yourself in deep trouble—you can call for backup."
The hologram shifted again, revealing hero teams across the world: Alpha Flight in Canada, the Winter Guard in Russia, and others across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
"Most of us may hail from the good old U.S. of A.," Captain America said, "but we've got allies across the globe. Heroes United isn't about borders—it's about protection, cooperation, and unity."
Superman took one last step forward, his voice steady and filled with quiet power.
"Everyone here has a choice to make—today, tomorrow, or whenever you're ready. What matters isn't the timing—it's whether you're willing to be more than what we are right now."
He paused, his gaze sweeping across hundreds of faces.
"I only have one question for all of you."
He raised his hand toward the sky, the 'S' on his chest gleaming in the light.
"Will you join us?"
For a heartbeat, the world seemed to hold its breath.
Then, the hall erupted in cheers—deafening, united, filled with purpose.
For the first time, the heroes of Earth stood together—not as separate leagues, teams, or vigilantes, but as one.
Heroes United.
Yet even as the cheers shook the tower, somewhere far away, darker forces stirred.
Because while unity had been born that day… more than one apocalypse was already on the horizon a doomsday was slowly awakening.

POV: Nightfury aka (Max Draco)
Location: Avengers Tower
I stood leaning on a wall by the Fantastic Four watching as the crowd of heroes clapped and cheered but I barely pay attention as two new notifications appeared.

[ITEMS]
• Doomsday clock
-A clock that counts down to the end of tbe world.
- At midnight a apocalypse has arrived.
---
It looked like a simple pocket watch—silver casing, black glass face—but there were no buttons, no gears, no batteries. Just two hands frozen in place.
<11:56 a.m.>
"That's… a little too close to midnight for my liking," I muttered under my breath.
Before I could study it further, a hand clapped down on my shoulder.
"Dude," Johnny Storm said with a grin, "are you seriously checking the time while something this big is going on?"
I shrugged, sliding the clock back into my inventory. "Just keeping my mind occupied. Honestly, I'm still trying to process this whole thing." My gaze flicked toward the stage where Superman and the others still stood. "You knew about this, didn't you?"
Johnny nodded, his usual smirk softening into something almost genuine. "Yeah. After that whole Zilla and Camazotz disaster—and the whole 'Atlantis almost invading the surface' thing—some of the big brains got together. This is what came out of it." He gestured toward the gathered crowd of heroes, each still buzzing with purpose and energy.
I nodded slowly. It made sense. After the chaos and destruction that nearly tore the world apart, something like this was bound to happen. Heroes couldn't keep fighting alone, not with threats on this scale.
Still, one thought lingered in the back of my head like a shadow: If the good guys are forming teams… the villains won't be far behind.
But I kept that to myself.
Instead, I smirked and asked, "And I wasn't invited because…?"
Johnny winced, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, you kinda disappeared for a bit there. And, uh, you didn't exactly answer any of our calls or messages."
"Yeah," I said, nodding, "that sounds about right."
He looked sheepish, but I chuckled and clapped him on the shoulder. "Relax, Matchstick. I'm just pulling your chain."
He laughed, shaking his head. "Man, you really gotta work on social skills or maybe just a phone."
I smiled faintly beneath my helmet, but my mind drifted back to that clock—the one still frozen at 11:56.
Four minutes to midnight.
And somehow, I had the feeling that when it finally struck twelve… Things are going to change a whole lot more than they already have.
Johnny's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"So… you think you'll join?" he asked, tilting his head with that same casual curiosity he always had.
I exhaled slowly, arms crossed. "Honestly? I'm not sure. I've been solo since day one."
The idea rolled around in my head like a loose gear. Joining Heroes United.
It wasn't a bad idea, not really. I'd be at the front of the line when something big went down—first to get info, first to act. Communication would be easier, coordination smoother, and I could still keep doing my own thing on the side.
Plus… there was something undeniably nostalgic about it. Standing in the same room as the heroes I'd grown up watching—fighting beside them, maybe even joking with a few of them—it stirred something I hadn't felt in a long time.
And with S.H.I.E.L.D. nowhere in sight? That was another win. No bureaucratic oversight. No secret Hydra infiltration. No one breathing down my neck.
I tilted my head, thinking it through. "Honestly… is there really a downside to joining?" I muttered aloud, more to myself than anyone.
Johnny grinned. "Yeah, that's what I said. Until Reed started sending me thirty-page team coordination memos."
I snorted. "...Okay, that's a downside."
He laughed, and for a brief moment, everything felt normal—like maybe, just maybe, the world wasn't a heartbeat away from ending.
But somewhere, deep in my pocket dimension, a silver clock still ticked down in silence.
11:56.
Four minutes to midnight.
