Just as she finished chopping the green onion, the hotel staff delivered fresh tomatoes and eggs.
No idea where they found tomatoes so late at night, but they were bright in color and plump, clearly hand-picked.
"Miss Chi, is this enough? If not, we can prepare more right away. Or if you need anything else, just let us know and we'll get it immediately."
"That's enough. I'm just making some tomato egg noodles."
Chi Enen took the bag handed to her with a slight smile.
"Thank you."
The staff member was flattered and quickly replied, "No need to thank me, it's my duty."
She hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Miss Chi, do you need my help? I've helped out in the kitchen before, I can handle simple tasks."
Chi Enen thanked her for her kindness, "I'm fine on my own, it's late, you should go rest."
"...Alright."
She had just exchanged a few words with the staff when the voice outside grew impatient, "Chi Enen, what are you dawdling for? Hurry up."
