"M-Michael?!" Mammon gasped. "So that's why you're... uh, I mean, I guess that's the Archangel you are? But... I thought you were with God or something? In Heaven, maybe? With your Father, The One?"
"Ah... I recognize your eyes from somewhere, but I'm not sure where," Michael replied. "Hmm... Mammon. There was certainly someone with that name."
"Isn't that the name of a demon?" Harumi asked. "My mother sure picked a weird name for him. I guess she named him Mammon because he's Half Devil."
"Mammon is known as the Archdemon of Greed. But before his fall, like many others, he was also an Archangel," Michael explained. "He fell from grace alongside Lucifer after joining him in the First War against The One—God. That war ended with the creation of Hell, a dimensional prison for Lucifer and the other Archangels. Within its searing flames of judgment, they mutated into Archdemons, their bodies twisted into aberrant forms that embodied their sins."
