"Go back."
Fong Yan's head felt dizzy as Chuzheng pulled him back.
"Wait, there's a sound over there..." Fong Yan stopped: "I'll go check it out."
It was already strange that she ran to this place; what she did just now was hardly different from trying to cover things up.
Chuzheng had a serious face: "You're hearing things."
Fong Yan didn't think he misheard: "Wait for me here."
Chuzheng: "..."
Fong Yan headed towards the abandoned building behind them.
Chuzheng sighed inwardly, why couldn't he just listen and be obedient?
Chuzheng raised her hand, aimed at the back of Fong Yan's head, and gave a hard chop.
Fong Yan's body suddenly froze, then he fell backward.
Chuzheng caught him, glanced at the abandoned building, picked him up, and left the place.
-
Fong Yan didn't wake up until the next day, his neck sore and achy.
Recalling yesterday, Fong Yan's face alternated between shades of blue and white, and he felt both ashamed and angry.
