Around 10 a.m. in the clinic, the doctor looked at Ann Nolan and then at her medical report.
After asking her some basic questions, the doctor in the white coat pushed up his glasses and said indifferently, "Do you really not want this child?"
"Yes, I didn't plan on keeping it."
"Young people should not focus solely on pleasure. Abortions are harmful to your body and may affect future pregnancies."
"Is the impact significant?" Ann Nolan was still a bit nervous.
It was her first time undergoing such a procedure, and to the doctor, she seemed as innocent as a seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl who had done something wrong.
"It's hard to say what will happen in the future; it depends on how you recover," the doctor said. "I see you've come alone, don't you have friends or parents to take care of you?"
Ann Nolan shook her head: "It's okay, I can manage on my own."
