"Ahem, Aunt May, don't get any ideas about my wife." Sylvan Cheney cleared his throat, his voice low and deep.
He tightened his arm around Jasmine Yale a little more, as if afraid someone might take her away.
"I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare." Aunt May chuckled, her eyes crinkling with amusement. "Jasmine, I've never seen Sylvan this protective over someone. You have to be happy, okay?"
Aunt May had always wholeheartedly wished them well. The more she looked at them, the more she felt Jasmine Yale and Sylvan Cheney were a perfect match.
"Thank you, Aunt May." Jasmine smiled, revealing two shallow dimples.
"What's your major, Jasmine?"
"Journalism," Jasmine replied.
"Which university?"
"The University of Cakago."
"Oh, an international student—impressive and smart," Aunt May complimented. "Aren't the boys overseas good-looking? I hear mixed-race ones are even more handsome."
"They're okay, but not as handsome as Sylvan." Jasmine shyly smiled.
