In the bakery, Aunt Camden was helping a customer wrap up some bread.
Looking up, she immediately spotted Jasmine Yale!
Aunt Camden was taken aback for a moment, then happily ran over. "Jasmine?! You're back!"
Aunt Camden thought she wouldn't be returning.
"Auntie, I'm back." Jasmine Yale smiled softly.
Sweet Kitty, having been with Jasmine Yale for over a year, ran up to her the moment she got close, nuzzling against her leg and meowing joyfully, just like it always did.
"Come, sit in the yard. Yukon, pour some tea for Jasmine." Aunt Camden didn't know what to do with her excitement.
"You're busy, do you need help?" Jasmine Yale asked.
"How can it be right to let you help? Yukon, why are you still standing there? Take Jasmine to the yard." Aunt Camden shot a glance at her smiling son.
Yukon Carbon set the porridge down. "Okay."
The bakery's yard was more spacious than before, with plenty of fresh potted plants, and a few more tables and chairs under the parasol.
