Poor little sweetheart.
She's all alone; how can she be happy?
Aunt Camden was quite busy, so she stood talking to Jasmine Yale for a bit before attending to her guests.
As she was leaving, she didn't forget to remind, "Jasmine, stay for lunch, okay?"
Jasmine Yale nodded with a smile.
"Yukon, haven't you had breakfast yet? You should eat something, or you'll be hungry," Jasmine Yale said.
"I'll go grab something to eat. Wait for me a bit." Yukon Carbon placed Sweet Kitty down and walked into the store.
Getting something to eat was just an excuse; he went to quietly tell Aunt Camden about Jasmine Yale's situation, fearing she might later ask some inappropriate questions.
Aunt Camden was shocked upon hearing this, followed by deep regret.
"That child Jasmine... really unfortunate, having lacked parents since childhood, and now... sigh…" Aunt Camden sighed repeatedly.
Yukon Carbon patted his mother's shoulder, comforting her.
