"How long have you been in Cakago?" A deep, tired voice sounded from behind her.
Jasmine Yale stopped in her tracks without much thought.
She wasn't going to argue with Sylvan Cheney.
She turned around and smiled, "Almost two years."
"Oh, quite a while." Sylvan Cheney still hadn't opened his eyes, his expression calm.
Time seemed to stand still.
Jasmine was puzzled, "What about you? How long have you been here?"
"Three and a half months."
"That's not long, CEO Cheney, you're really impressive. The branch here was only established at the beginning of the year, and in the past three months, it's seen rapid growth. I think it's all thanks to you, CEO Cheney."
"You're quite talkative."
"Uh..." Jasmine's mouth twitched, she just said a couple more sentences.
"But you know, I don't think being successful in business means someone is impressive; being able to balance career and family, that's truly impressive."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Nothing, I'm heading home now."
