Amidst the flames that persist to burn everything all over the flames, Seol saw Akito walking towards her amidst it, as she somehow frowned a little, before chinging the way she held her spear.
Truth be told she had studied the way the three top combatants fight from the six academies competition. She analyzed their skills, capabilities, and even possible scenario if they grow stronger after one year.
She already expected that all three of them would have grown considerably stronger than they were during back in the competition, however never did she expect that Akito would grow this strong to the point that it somehow gave her a challenge.
Upon analyzing Akito's recorded data, she was confident that she is stronger than him, but with this new skill he displayed, that changes everything.
Without a single hesitation from her Seol charged towards Akito using her skill "Void Step", only for her attack to miss its target when Akito stepped to the side.
The moment she missed her attack, Seol immediately jumped backward to dodge Akito's counter swing, as he quickly landed on the ground and injected her mana into the spear in order to throw it at him with a powerful blow.
However before she could do such thing, Akito suddenly charged at her in a blink of an eye, and forced Seol to defend herself when Akito swung his blade at her when he suddenly appeared in front of her.
This kind of speed without using a skill or magic is simply unprecedented. She didn't hear anything nor saw any indication that Akito would use a type of movement skill. The only plausible explanation for that was Akito had purely used his physical strength to dash towards Seol so fast, that it somehow appeared like a blink.
Doing such feat was literally mind blowing since not only does Akito needed a core strength on his body and especially on his legs, he would need swiftness and strength to push himself forward so fast that it appeared like he blinked from one spot unto another.
At first Seol was surprised by this turn of event, however after remembering that her opponent is Akito, than she realized that it may not be that too far fetched.
Before she could even take a breather, Akito suddenly moved and appeared behind her, as he swung his sword at him and forced seol to twist her body in order to block the attack. However even though she manage to block that next attack, Akito simply moved to her blindspot once more and attacked from that angle.
With that Seol immediately slid her spear behind her to block that attack, while using a skill to get away from Akito himself.
"Lightning Movement!!!"
However the moment she did this, Akito sent multiple sword waves at her forcing her to enter a defensive state which enables Akito to get closer to her once more and attack from above with his own skill.
"Tomura's First offensive sword form Wansutoraiku (One strike)"
From there a huge explosion rung out as Seol squarely blocked that attack with much effort to the point that she almost bend her knee.
Using pure strength to push him away, Seol swung her spear at Akito only for it to be parried to the side, countered back with a skill being activated in point blank range.
"Tomura's Third offensive sword form Ken no Nami (Sword Wave)"
Upon seeing mana being released from the sword, Seol then immediately ducked down to dodge the attack before thrusting her way towards Akito's opening.
"Dragon Thrust!!!"
"Tomura's Second defensive sword form Bunkatsu katto (Splitting Cut)"
However Akito simply used another skill to cut down Seol's attack, which totally shocked her. In the next moment she then got attacked and thrown across the field when Akito delivered a blow which dealt such a powerful blow to her to result such reaction.
Before Seol could even get up, Akitk made his next move by enveloping himself with lightning and gave him boost in his strength and speed in combat with this state.
"Tomura's Forth Tactical sword form Shōmei byakko (Lightning byako)"
Using that skill Akito charged at Seol as he swung his sword at him and forced Seol to instinctively dodge it rather than block the attack. Even though she can use her spear to block Akito's attack, her senses tell her to dodge it otherwise.
Till this way her instincts never failed her and right now her instincts sensed danger on the sword and instructed her body to dodge the attack instead of blocking it.
After dodging that attack, Seol was planning to counter attack, only for her instincts to warn her again and forced her to jump away just in time to dodge Akito's followed up attack.
This type of situation really sucks Seol, after a she was totally pinned down by the opponent which unabled her to even fight back.
But before she could even think it through, her instincts warned her once more as Akito suddenly appeared beside her with incredible speed and slashed down her sword.
Without a second thought Seol jumped forward to dodge his attack, before immediately turning around and throwing in a counter attack.
"Dominating Slash!!!"
However the moment she did this, Akito was nowhere to be seen causing her attack to miss and her instincts licking in after it sensed Akito appearing behind her.
Before she could even move to dodge his attack, she was squarely hit on the back, giving her a huge wound across her back, followed by a Thunder strike from above which struck her so hard that it literally cracked the ground beneath her.
For the first time Seol expressed her pain, as she tried to withstand the Lightning with her very own gifted body.
However in this moment Akito has no plans of letting Seol turn the situation around, without waiting for her to break through the lightning strike, Akito immediately prepared his next move which blasted away Seol with a powerful blow.
